I just wanted to remind everyone how important it is for pain control and one's general health to stay properly hydrated and well-nourished.
Low water level means low joint fluid level, reduced kidney function, etc. = fail
Our bodies can't process all of these fancy meds we are cramming into them unless we give our bodies the proper raw materials to do so.
When I begin to become dehydrated, my joint, muscle, and tissue pain levels skyrocket... and with elevated pain levels I forget to eat and drink properly. This creates a downwards spiral that can sometimes take weeks to climb out of. This can be avoided by drinking enough water to keep your urine clear/almost clear. Another excellent preventative measure is taking a good multivitamin daily, just to fill in any gaps in the healthy diet you SHOULD be eating. ;)
I just caught myself hurting badly and realized I've been spending most of my time feeling sorry for myself rather than caring for my nutrition.
Anyways, drink that water folks! Take those vitamins!
