I just want to let anyone who uses Mepergan Fortis know that it is no longer being manufactured. The docs are now having to write 2 different Rxs as Mepergan contained Demerol 50mg and Phenergan 25mg per capsule.
I'm not sure why they quit manufacturing it, but our pharmacy at work has already ran out and notified our docs this past week that it is off the market now. For those of you who are on Mepergan Fortis and it helps you, please just ask your doc to write a script for Demerol and another for Phenergan.
