GC-MS Test Can this test show a difference if you took vicodin or norco ???

The only difference is the amount of hydrocodone, norcos come in 5, 7.5, and 10mgs of hydrocodone. But like goat said you are probably good. Be careful, you dont want to do something to get blacklisted.

I take lora tabs for pain 10/500 6 per day.  I asked my wife to get me one during the night and she gave me one of hers, a 10/325 percocet.  Great.  I have a six panel (?) test in 2 days.  will they both show uo as an opiate or am I in trouble???

You gotta give us more than 3 minutes to respond, hehe...Unfortunately, percocet and vicodin can show up as different medications on some tests. It really depends on the test that your doctor runs. Some just show a positive for opiates, others can show which specific opiates were taken. It seems that most pain clinics/doctors who prescribe pain meds that give UA's will give the tests that show which specific pain killers were taken. I think they like these tests better because they give more information. There is a possibility that by the time you take the test it will be out of your system or the levels will be low enough that they won't throw a positive result for percocet. If I were you I'd gauge your relationship with your doctor and look at what's on the line and think about what your doctor's reaction might be if you revealed your honest mistake before the test so it doesn't look suspicious. Of course, if your doctor is uptight and will drop you for it then you may want to take your chances. But to answer your question, it just depends on what test is given as to whether or not it will show up as just opiates taken or if it will show that you took vicodin and percocet. Also, like I said it may already be out of your system by the time you take the test so you may not have to worry. Everyone's body excretes opiates at different rates, depending on factors like metabolism, on your weight, on how much you exercise, on how much you sweat, etc. Hope this answers your question.

I see  where that could happen.. But when she handed you the pill, didnt it feel , and look diffrent than your reg. pain pill? I mean 10/325 are alot smaller than a vicoden 10/500 arent they? Im just sayin.... maybee im wrong. Anyway I wish you luck :)

Benzo is short for benzodiazepam//valium..

vicodin is hydrocodone

Deanna, in gardengrounds defense an Endocet 10/325 (E712) or Mallinckrodts 10/325 (m523) is only slightly smaller and the same shape as say a Mallinckrodt Lortab 10/500 (m361). Also gardenground its not Lora Tabs its Lortab there is no laura sound when saying the name of the medication, its just Lortab, like Lore in Folk Lore. Believe it or not my doctors RN makes this mistake all the time as well, you would think someone who writes, types and says the word several times a day/week would atleast know how to do it right, oh she also says, writes, types Loricet and OxyContine Ive also seen her write OxyContin IR too. Sorry off topic, just a little funny.
