All oxycontin generics have

All oxycontin generics have already been discontinued. If you were getting them they were just surplus stock so yeah all you can get is brand name oxycontin by purdue.

My friend got her oxy filled

My friend got her oxy filled at a chain grocery store and she got the Impax 40's, the purple g16 sumthin ones. So I would still believe generics are out there somewhere, although may be scarace.

I still got the TEVA Oxy

I still got the TEVA Oxy 40's on 8/18 This is a big chain pharmacy but it has only been open for about 5-6 months. As I did most people go to the same pharmacy if they feel comfortable with that pharmacy. Also they recognize you month after month and do not do the wisper's to the pharmacy tech.

I talked to my friend about

I talked to my friend about this because usually she would get the generics to save money unless we had the cash for the brand name as she does not have insurance either. The name brand Oxy's cost consiberly more but at this grocery store the name brand oxy's are almost $150 cheaper than at walgreens. She is no longer able to get the impax generics or any for that matter, the pharmacist saved the last 120 for her this month and that is all they had or can get. The doctor was able to give her a coupon that you can use 5 times and it's $50 off each script. So that could be an option for people who are forced to get brand name and can't afford it.
