So which is better? (i know there is not really a way to tell that, except for the person who has tried both.)
But just wanted to get your opionions on this from people who have had experiences with both or one.
Methadone worked for me when I was on it about 4 years ago, then things happened (bad things) and I now need more powerful
narcotics, OC, opana, dilaudid.
Anyway, any experiences?
I bet I would!
ill try and see what happens.

I want to vote for suboxone for withdrawal and maintenace, but methadone can be given at much more potent doses for pain control and is a lot cheaper.
Yes, Dr Lois, that is what I hear alot of. And u dont have to go to some clinic everyday. But Methadon has its own convinient attributes to it as well.
Some people swear Methadone works for them, others say SUB is.
All depends on the patient I suppose.
thank you for your reply!

Has anyone here taken Subox-whatever its called. How does it compare to methadone. Because I'm looking to get treatment for my addiction, and Ive taken methadone so I know how I react to it so I would prefer the mathadone, plus from what I hear its cheaper than the Suboxone (someone said $1000.00 per month).
methadone works for me sub i still feel sick all the time but it works for my husband i want to take the tablets as soon as i find a doctor to give them to me
I know someone who pays 450 a month for #90 8mg suboxone here in new york. 1000 dollars seems a little high but i guess prices vary.

I'll bet if you type the word 'methadone' in the search box you'll get 42 pages of results and many of the posts compare Suboxone to methadone.
