Hello brothers and sisters! I read a post somewhere here on line about Roxicodone 30mg are no more! Does any body have any solid info about this? This is what my doctor prescribes to me for BT pain. Thanks in advance Oharejoe P.S. I have been getting them last month with no problem!

im not sure, and furthermore i dont think anyone really is, some say its potential for abuse is higher then others (mallinkrodt, ethex...) some say amide is shutting down for problems people were having gastro-intestinal problems with their other products, im suprised you have even been able to get ahold of your present script! when was it last filled? and what state are you in? some people on this site would like to know as they are/were on the same thing. http://www.pharmer.org/node/11839 here is a previous and ongoing forum for you to browse and get yourself educated. because although i find the topic interesting, i have done all the reading on the topic i possibly can, i personally have no preference, my pain pills are my pain pills, regardless what they say on them, the same stuff is in the tablet, i mean different strokes for different folks, but thats just my 2mgs on the topic, hope i helped you!!

15mg Amide Roxycodone
WOW!
I just read these posts and it floored me! I was getting 15mg A214 Amide Roxycodones and they worked great!
The last two months, my Pharmacy (Walgreens), has given me ETH 445, which is yellow, 15mg roxycodone.
Which one is better in your opinions? I was wondering why it was switched, I absolutely loved the Amide A214, and now I'm not sure about these new pills!
I had finally found something that worked, and now it was switched, why, I do not know. But from what I am reading, I guess it is a matter of the good ole dollar!
I use a 75mg Fentayl patch every day, and the 15mg pills for breakthrough pain. Am I on too much medicine? I am a big guy, and seem to function just fine, but was wondering if anyone else out there is one the same type regimen?
In spite of ALL this medicine, I still experience bad pain at times, guess I've developed a 'tolerance" which again, I have read about inthese posts.
Sigh....guess that's just the way it is. Any advice is appreciated!

Well as far as the 2 different brands of pills, they both have the same amount of oxy, so most likely its more a mental thing because your getting "something different" then it is an issue of one being better than the other in my opinion. Also as far as tolerance goes, you definitely need higher doses as time goes by to make up for the tolerance you build, but that sometimes requires you to let your doctor know that the dose your on is no longer effective, before he adjusts it to a higher dose.

I had no problem filling my 15mg. Amide's on Monday 8/18. When I went to the pharmacy I expected the Ethex or the Mallincrodt but sure enough they were the Amide's. Next month I am going to ask the pharmacist about the Amide's and what he suggest's. There are only 3 drug stores that even carry 15-30 mg Oxy IR's and everyone of them carry the Amide brand. Stange
roxicodone is not going anywhere, a manufacturer however is having problems with the 30s, AMIDE.
