I'm currently detoxing from the most misleading drug on the planet SUBOXONE... The withdrawls are terrible and so on... But my main question is, they are giving me IM Naltrexone shots daily and prescribing me Valium, Clonidine, Zyprexa, and the Ultram... Wouldn't the Naltrexone cause the Ultram not to work??? It feels like it is but i'm just confused..
Read the package insert on these medicines. I smell a seizure coming on...Don't allow yourself to be randomly jerked around where medications are concerned. Who's administering this treatment? Ultram lowers the seizure threshold dramatically. That fact, in combination with your suboxone/ naltrexone IM/ xyprexa could lead to some degree of unpleasantness....I would get a second opinion...Best wishes.
Because..... the docs and pharm reps flat out lie to most people, by saying it's less addictive. And the messed up part, it last so long in the body, its w\d's are worse than anytihing EVER.. (and i've been thru OXY, heroin, and Methadone). I just wish they would've told me that maybe I should start stepping down my dose when they should have... insead of making the cash cow even fatter (100 per visit and anywhere from 20-$200) for the meds.. This may not be a growing issue for some areas, but here in WV, it's TERRIBLE... People are just taken away by this "Miracle".. and then a kirbie when they want off.
I'm actually done with my detox today in Richmond and getting a naltrexone implant... I asked the Doc about the ultram, he said that it's too weak of an opiate and that it acts differently to cause serious issue... Plus I saw him every day for a week..
Peace
The suboxone was removed and replaced with the meds I originally listed.. and I'm not a "drug basher" because i'm definately done may too much of my fare share.. I just wish i would've be titrated and maintained correctly on the Subs, not just go to see the nurse and she calls me in 30 8mg pills every other week... And anyone taking this drug, make sure if u want to quit, taper down, almost completely before stopping. And you may need other meds to help the Post W/D's
Why would you say Suboxone is misleading? It has helped many people, myself being one of them.
