Recently I watched 20/20 or similar program where they talked about on-line pharmacys and how some of them (even though they look like a regular old US website) import perscription drugs that are made overseas. The product that they sell can look almost identical to the pill you currently take (in the show even a professional pharm. could not tell the difference) but they are bogus or worse contain dangerous chemicals. Since I order my perscription on-line, I was wondering if anyone knew about this going on, and if there is any way to choose wisely when you are "shopping" on the internet for pharmacys? Is there any website that you know of that lists unbias reviews of on-line pharmacys?
But some people are forced to.... Either use Mail order or on-line (legit like CVS, or what ever) for their maintence medications (be it lisinopril, lovastatin, or docusate. I personally would never order my meds from a "shady" one.... the ones with doctors consultations. you know what I mean. But I would use An order form on Walgreens.com. I'm insured. I have medicare. The people on Mediciad in my state don't have to pay a 3 $ copay if they use the mail order service. but to go to a brick and mortar pharm, they do. I'm not sure how it works with C2's. i think you HAVE to go to a brick and mortar.
Also, if some one was uninsured..... computer surfing for the cheapest maintence meds, might be the way to go ( for non-schedualed).
THis would be an expample of a reputable company

Sites that claim to sell controlled substances with no prescription should be avoided.(edited)
I don't fault people who order from a online pharm, as long as it is legit. Certain employer paid insurance companies force you too. its just the way it is. Of course, if your meds are emergent..... go to brick and mortar. lol
If your getting a online Dr "consult" for a Legit condition, and your script gets filled at a Legal Pharm in the US, then chances are you will be fine
However if your just getting pills online like there candy, then you should be somewhat worried
Just like pretty much anything, it's buyer beware, at your own risk
Don't do business with shady companys
Good luck ! (seriously)

I would not order on the net, and either should anyone else. For one thing, you might not ever get what you ordered. Two, the package might not ever come at all. Three, it is illegal.
Thats all I am going to say about this. Sorry.

Just wanted to add that anything you might get from an online pharmacy could be really old. You really have no way of knowing how long those pills have been sitting around, what they are or where they come from. They could have been laying around on a floor someplace and swept up and put into the script bottle. I would stay away from online pharmacy's IMO..you never really know what you are getting or where its been.
The FDA has a list I believe of pharmacies known to be legitimate and reputable or it might be the other way around I can't remember exactly. They also have a sort of accreditation they give to on-line pharmacies that meet with all the proper standards. Check the FDA website, as well as the DEA and you should be able to find some good info. As a side note, it is not always illegal to order medicine on-line. Like one poster said some people are forced to do this by their insurance companies. Also, pharmacies such as CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc. have reputable websites with prescription ordering and filling capabilities. I would recommend one of these pharmacies if ordering online. There has also been many forums about this topic, about counterfeit medicines and so on.

Why no links King?

Basically the only time its not illegal to get them online is when you have a valid script from a real doctor that you meet face to face with, unless you are getting non prescription drugs.
"Why no links king?"
I wasn't sure where exactly the info was at, but I know I have seen it before. I didn't feel like searching all around but I knew it was there somewhere. I also know a good amount of online prescription ordering is illegal, but not all online ordering is illegal, and I don't think people should make blanket statements unless they are factual. But the main reason is that I'm half computer illiterate and I don't know all the tricks to this site for linking things and I didn't feel like typing the whole web address out.

I wasnt referring to a pharmacy online that you have to have a prescription for a pres. controlled drug. I will be SURE to explain that next time!

Allthough I find those links to be fairly accurate, I also think in some way its somewhat propaganda or scare tactics

Scare Tactics, yes. But all they are doing is excentuating the Laws.

I would never order drugs online. ever.
