Formula

17-hydroxy-17-(2-hydroxyacetyl)-10,13-dimethyl-7,8,9,10,12,13,14,15,16,17- decahydro-3H-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-3,11(6H)-dione (From Wikipedia)

Believe it or not, in pharmacy school, we got formulas like that, and had to draw the drug. A very hard and useless skill lol.

I would love to learn

how to draw molecules from the chemical formula...It's been a long time since college chemistry...

there are some sites with

there are some sites with free software to download to design your own molecuar models, i'll post em here when i get the address. All the best M.

fella s that s why pharmacy school is so long

4 years of it is drawing all the molecuar structures of chemical compounds, this helps not only the economy by supplying people of the timber industry jobs getting wood for the writing paper,an pencils, not to mention that the school gets to collect rent 48 more times for dormitories fees.

its been long known that the structure of chemical molecuar structures are highly important, when scientist s learn to split the atomic atom that was quite a acheviment, The next big step will be when the next  scientist will learn to split the carbon atom

if I need to know the structure of a molecude I just get on the web, type in any compound I want to learn about an the molecular structure it s there .

but all pharmacy students must learn to draw these as at some time in there life they may want to expand there education, thank all pharm students that kept timber cutters, graphite miners, ink producers an janitors a job.
