IS THIS BY INJECTION ONLY?

CAN THIS BE TAKEN BY MOUTH?

ALSO ANY COMMENTS ON WHAT ARE EFFECTS AND HOW LONG IT MAY LAST?

IM 6'1 ABOUT 195 LBS. ANY WEBPAGES WITH INFO.

REGARDING DEMEROL WOULD BE GREATLY APPRTECIATED.

I SEARCHED ABBOT LABORATORIES WEBSITE W/ NO IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATY APPRECIATED.

Demerol

The vial is for injection only. You need to ask your doctor for information regarding Demerol (meperidine) injection. 

Info from Eckerd Drug Advisor (emphasis added to first sentence): 

The injection is usually given by a health-care professional in a clinic or hospital setting. If your prescriber or health care professional prescribes meperidine for around-the-clock relief of pain, you may be shown how to give yourself injections. Follow the directions carefully.
