Can somebody please tell me the difference in the 10mg Oxycodone and the 10mg Hydrocodone. I have been taking the Hydro for sometime for back pain, and now have a few Oxycodone. I dont want to take the "Oxy" if it is much different from the "Hydro." If the two have similar effects then I wouldnt worry too much, but I dont know.. PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks undertakeress but that chart just confuses me even more. Sorry to be so difficult, but my main concern is the effects of the med. I guess theyre both basically the same kind of med but the "OXY" is just a stronger version???? I just dont wanna take the "OXY" and it mess me up or anything...LOL... I guess what im trying to say is....Is taking one "OXY" the same as taking about 2 "HYDRO?"
No, the chemical composition is different. Oxycodone is roughly 3 times stronger than hydrocodone. It also depends on what it is with - APAP, ibuprofen, etc.
Try taking half of it first and see how it does with pain relief (assuming it is immediate release oxycodone). If your used to hydrocodone then I wouldnt worry about taking half of a 10mg dose.

Tuna
well....The pill is white, and has M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. What is the equivilency of this to a Hydrocodone 10mg??
Well according to GlobalRPH 10mg of hydrocodone = 6.67mg of oxycodone and 10mg of oxycodone = 15mg of hydrocodone . I'd say that sounds about right. But since you don't have a tolerence to oxycodone I'd still say take half of the pill, see how you feel as far as pain relief goes, and if you don't feel it in an hour take the other half. I really wouldn't worry about adverse effects, oxycodone is more likely to make you nauscious but thats about it. If you have no problems with hydrocodone, then take it. If you don't want them then I'll gladly take them for you cause they work great for my back ;D
-----
Tuna
Tuna is right, it is about 1.5 X stronger, but the other poster is right when she says they are completely dif chemical compounds. It is quite common to be switched over after a year or two (as I was) b/c you have a tolerance to the hydro...that said, you should take tuna's advice and be cautious b/c it is possible to be fine with hydro, yet allergic to oxy.
-Also remember it works both ways, when you start to build a tolerance to the oxy, have them switch you back to the hydro for 6 months so your tolerance dissipates - but for "true" chronic pain patients (as i believe many of you are), the sooner you get to a "non-ceiling" drug the better, using hydro or oxy for breakthru only...it is far better on your liver and organs...Just my opinion, but having gone thru this for a decade, I recently got Fentanyl patches (a drug 100 X strength morphine that was first used medicinally in the early 1960's during surgery) these patches have no ceiling, no harm is caused to the organs, so the doctors just work until they get a theraputic level...
just something to keep in mind for you "chronic pain patients"
From my personal experience, if you have beentaking hydro fow awhile, you will probably find the oxy muxh stronger initially. 10mg oxy is equal to about 12.5-15mg of hydro. I have taken both and they both work great for back pain. Do you usually take 1 or 2 10mg hydro. You might discuss the best option with your doctor. Best of luck.

THANKS EVERYONE for helping me with this. I finally gathered up the courage to just take the Oxycodone after all of your guys' advice. It worked great for my back pain. My main concern was that it would mess me up, but it didnt. It was just like you guys said it was....just a lil stronger than the Hydrocodone. I liked it very much. I have heard that "Oxycontin" was a very strong pain pill and I thought for some reason that the two would be similar. I have never taking Oxycontin, but have only heard things bout it. But anyways, Thank You guys very much for all of your advice!! I look forward to more of your great advice in the future...LOL....Oh, and the best thing bout the Oxycodone is that I normally take 2 of the 10mg Hydrocodone, and I think if I switched to the 10mg/325mg Oxycodone, I would probably only have to take 1!! Which to me is way more healthy than taking several Hydrocodone throughout the day!
For deleting my post. Warms a new guys heart.

very similar oxy is slightly strongercuz it crosses the BBB more easily
oxycodone is nowhere near oxycontin.
Stay away from oxycontin unless you want to get super addicted to a drug
(edited by TeamPharmer)
That's not necessarily true, and if taken as prescribed oxycontin is no more addicting than any other opiate drug. Please don't spout off things that can't be substantiated.
- OxyContin is my specialty. Oxy is slightly stronger Hydrocodone. Highly addictive. Taken as prescribed it is more addictive than any hydrocodone pills because of the shear amount in an O.C. No Hydrocodone pill comes close to 40 mg 80 mg. Strongest Hydrocodone pills are only 10mg hydro. The rest being tylenol. Which is why O.C.'s were invented. too much tylenol kills your liver. OxyContin is pure opiate. It is definitly more addictive than any hydrocodone drug. As for Oxycodone, it's the same drug, mg per mg. Same addiction as any Oxy pill.
- Hydrocodone can cause stomach upset alot more than oxycodone. I know Vicodin (which has the hydrocodone) makes me sick but oxycodone based painkillers dont bother my stomach. It aint just me either. It's documented. look it up
Hydrocodone is actually available without tylenol, however; it is rarely used, and I do not believe it is in pill form. I know compounding pharmacies can compound any amount of hydrocodone with any amount of ibuprofen/acetaminophen. However, compound pharmacies are usually pricier than their generic counterparts.
Also, as far as looking up stomach upset as a side effect to hydrocodone, it is a side effect. However, it is also a possible side effect in oxycodone. This goes back to the fact that everybody is different, and what works for some may not work for others. I have no personal experience with oxycodone, except for a kidney stone episode a few months back, so I'm definitely not an expert on oxycodone by any means. But I can say, with some degree of certainty, that stomach upset can occur with either drug, depending on the patient.
Please post your references that you are using so I can cross reference them with the ones I am using. Somewhere, something is definitely not right.

HI EVERYONE, I HAVEN'T POSTED FOR QUITE SOME TIME, I AM SCHEDULED FOR A CERVICAL SPINAL FUSION ON APRIL 6TH. MY SPINAL CORD IS FLATTENED & I HAVE CERVICAL MYELOPATHY & RADICOULOPATHY & IT HAS PROGRESSED GREATLY OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS.I HAVE TO HAVE 3 DISCS REMOVED AND THE ENTIRE AREA CLEANED UP. IT IS DIFFICULT & EXTREMELY PAINFUL TO PICK UP A ROLL OF PAPER TOWELS(NOT GOOD) THINGS I COULD DO A FEW MONTHS AGO ARE NOT AN OPTION ANY MORE FOR ME.-AT ANY RATE LAST WEEKEND I WAS IN A REAL BAD SPOT & IT WAS ADVISED TO ME BY MY SURGEONS NURSE TO GO TO THE ER (HE WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR A WEEK) I COULDN'T GO TO CHICAGO WHERE I AM HAVING THIS DONE AT RUSH UNIVERSITY MEDICAL HOSPITAL. 75 MILES AWAY I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE I HAVE HAD ALL MY MRI'S AND PRE OP WORK DONE. I WAS PRESCRIBED PERCOCET. I AM NORMALLY TAKING 2 NORCO (AS PRESRIBED)BY MY SURGEON 10/325 EVERY 4-6 HRS. I FELT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE ON THE PERCOCET. IT IS HARD TO EXPLAIN IT, VERY HEADACHY & WIRED.IT HELPED THE PAIN TO SOME DEGREE, BUT I KNOW WITH MY DISEASE & HAVING HYDROCODONE PRESCRIBED FOR 2 YEARS NOW OF COURSE I KNOW THEIR IS A TOLERANCE FACTOR. THE WATSON GENERIC HYDRO WORKS WELL FOR ME -IT DOES NOT UPSET MY STOMACH LIKE MALLINROTT, AND HAS A LONGER WINDOW.I FEEL MALLINROTT IS A INFERIOR GENERIC THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH ME PERSONALLY -THE ONLY AVAILABLE PERCOCET WAS OF COURSE MALLINROTT.I KNOW IT IS ONLY A 20% FACTOR BUT SOME HOW, SOME WAY IT REEKS HAVOC WITH MY STOMACH ETC.OBJECTIVELY I WOULD NEED TO NOT TAKE THE MALLINGROTT OXYCODONE /TO SEE IF THEIR INDEED WAS A BENEFIAL ASPECT TO THIS MED. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT MAKES ANY VALID SENSE TO ANYONE, JUST MY EXPERIANCE AND MY OWN INTERACTION. WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT , JUST THOUGHT I WOULD TELL OF THIS EXPERIANCE HOPE IT HELPS / GOD BLESS YOU ALL -BLUEANGEL
Blueangel...Not only is percocet available as a brand but in two other generics besides mallinkcrodt. Your pharmacy can order any generic you wish although you might have to wait or you could call around to other pharmacies to see who does not stock mallinckrodt. All stregths of percocet (5/325, 2.5/325, 7.5/325, 7.5/500, 10/325, and 10/650) are all available in watson and endo generics commonly known as endocet (the manufacturers of brand percocet) so I dont really see your dilemma. As far as the other posts go, they make instant release oxycodone in 5, 15, and 30mg strengths so oxycontin was not invented to have oxycodone w/o tylenol, is was produced for a long acting controlled release formula of a well established narcotic pain killer. Oxycontin is no more addicting than percocet unless you break the time release and end up with 20, 40, or 80mg in your system immediately. They do also make 10s but they make 10mg percocet as well in 2 diff. stregnths. It depends on the patient on whether they will become addicted or not as we all know there is a huge debate between dependency and addiction. I may not have worded that right so apoligies in advance if if comes out sounding wrong.

I HAD IT FILLED AT WALGREENS, BUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE I AM GOING TO CHANGE PHARMACIES FOR MANY REASONS. I KNOW I CAN ASK FOR A DIFFERENT GENERIC APPRECIATE THAT INFO, THANK YOU AGAIN. BLUEANGEL1/28/97
"Your pharmacy can order any generic you wish although you might have to wait or you could call around to other pharmacies to see who does not stock mallinckrodt. "
Actually that is not true. It all depends on which distributor the pharmacy uses. If they only carry a certain generic they won't order another one. I am sure it is different with smaller independent pharmacies but with the larger chain stores this is how they seem to operate.
Good luck with your fusion Blue Angel. I also have cervical Myelopathy and herniated C3-C4 C5-C6. Although I haven't been scheduled for surgery yet, it's definately in my near future.
I DEEPLY APPRECIATE THE KIND WORDS -ALL I KNOW IS SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE -BEFORE IT DOES ME(MYELOPATHY) IN,AND THE SPINAL CORD BECOMES FRAYED OR REALLY DAMAGED. TAKE CARE
Blueangel, I also personally do not like walgreens. They seem to carry the cheapest generics, charge and arma and a leg for them and take forever to fill them. (had to wait 5+ hours once) I've also found the techs and pharmacists at walgreens rude and moody. If you have access to an Albertsons/Sav-on pharmacy, I suggest using that. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the longest I've ever had to wait was 15 minutes and they had no problem whatsoever oredering the watson generic percoet 10/325 for me instead of the endocet. (the yellow die in it gives me a bad reaction for some reason.) I've also found safeway as well as smaller pharmacies very good. Good luck woth your spinal fusion and I hope you recover well. I have bulging, and one herniated disc in the L4-L7 area and and spondilitis in my thoracic spine(great genetics I guess) I am only 23 so it really x*#&s and my dr. pretty much told me by the time I'm 80 I will be able to write a book on back pain and will probably be taking pain meds for the rest of my life as surgery is not an option for me. Not the news I want to hear. I just wish tolerance didnt exist! :-D If I am taking two 10/325 percocet a day now (minimum) i cant imagine what I will have to take 20 years from now. But sorry to ramble about myslef, I wish you the best of luck and hope you can find the generic you need at a pharmacy who cares more about the patient than the bottom line (aka walgreens, rite-aid, etc.) Like I said, try grocery store pharmacies and smaller mom and pop shops (old fashioned apothecaries are the best) I know in my neck of the woods (Oregon) Safeway, albertsons/sav-on, and fred meyer/kroger all will match any other pharmacies price and order you any generic/drug/strength you wish as long as it is accessable to them. Once again, best of luck with yuor spinal fusion.

WALGREENS TOOK THE LIBERTY OF SENDING A LIST TO MY PCP OF MY PAIN MED WHEN HE SHOWED IT TO ME ON THURSDAY I WAS SO UPSET!I WAS GETTING MY PRE OP PHYSICAL FOR MY NEEDED SURGERY.MY PCP TOLD ME HE NEVER ASKED FOR THAT AND TO GET RID OF WALGREENS. HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES? NICE HUH?AND THANK YOU FOR THE WELL WISHES JeckPDX-& CAN ANYONE ENLIGHTEN ME ON WHAT RIGHT DOES WALGREENS HAVE TO DO THIS TO ME?????HELP!!!!!
Pharmacies can send copies of your pain med list to your doctor if they feel there is the possible abuse or soemthign isn't right. You can thank the doctor shoppers for that. Under HIPAA though it is permitted.
Walgreens has also sent a report to my doc of all the meds I've filled there and through my insurance at other pharmacies as well. It was completely uncalled for. Unfortunately, I can't take hydrocodone due to G.I. upset and had an rx for lortab 10/500 i filled on a monday and got a script for 5/500mg Tylox and when I inquired as to why my insurance didnt pay, they looked at my file and called my doctor and made me talk to him on the phone right in front of the pharmacist. He basically told her to F off and to give me my freakin meds and since they are 2 diff. drugs my insurance should have covered it. I hat walgreens and only go there now if I have to go to a 24hr pharmacy and they are the only one close. There is a 24hr Rite-aid a ways away but they x*#& too. I dont know why pharmacists feel the need to bother docs with this kind of stuff, especially if it is coming from the same doctor that monitors your meds or a specialist which you could be reffered to. Just irritates me and now my doc advises his patients not to use walgreens pharmacy.

Just out of curiosity, how many people here have had problems with Walgreen's in particular? I'm curious due to the fact that I've always gone to a Mom & Pop style pharmacy, and most of the time, they know their patients and know their conditions. Heck, there are two pharmacist, and one of them will actually recommend drugs that he feels may be safer than what the doctor orders.
Again, I'm looking to see how many people have had problems with Walgreen's. I think it's fascinating that one pharmacy can have such a horrible reputation. Hopefully, someone within the company will see that not only did ABC show them for what they are, but that people on the internet have begun sounding off about them as well.

The experiences that I have had with Walgreens have not been good. (Wal-Mart, too, for that matter.) Any time I have filled more than 10 tablets of vicodin, they act VERY suspicious. Once it was 30 tabs, and I refilled it before the month was over (just fine by my doc) and they called the doctor. Also tried to fill a script (Flexeril, 10 mg one every night at bedtime) in a different state- early because I didn't bring them with me, and there were 5 refills on it...) and they wouldn't do that, either. (Not because I was in a different state but because it was early. And I was a cash customer, not insurance, and I had to wait 3 HOURS for them to deny my refill.) Safeway filled it in 15 minutes and said, 'have a nice day!"
My local Costco pharmacy will call the doctor if the script doesn't seem to be written right. (They did this for my mom's friend, who was supposed to do a medrol taper, and the taper instructions weren't written right.) Costco does not give you your meds if it is a new prescription, or if the dosage is changed, until the pharmacist gives you a council- they don't offer the option of signing that right away. (They will ask if you've taken it before, and if you have any new questions). They don't seem to think that it is their job to police who gets what med and when, and assumes if you come in for your oxycontin once a month that you are a legit pain patient. And they DO talk to you about whether another (possibly less expensive) drug might work for you, or maybe a different class of anti-migraine, etc. if you ask them.
A pharmacist can be a valuable tool in your medical caretakers' team. A good one can help you by answering questions about side effects, alternatives, dangerous cross reactions, etc. There is no good reason, except to fill something on an urgent-care basis, to have anything but one very good pharmacy to take care of your prescription med needs.
This is neither a pro nor a con statement of Walgreen's, simply just an observation.
Has anyone else noticed that at nearly every intersection, especially in the south, if there is a Walgreen's on a Northeast Corner of an intersection, there is a CVS in the Southwest Corner of the same intersection. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed that.

I KNOW DEERFIELD , ILL IS THE HOME BASE OF WALGREENS. I READ A WHILE AGO THAT THEY IN THEIR VISIONARY GROWTH WANT TO DOMINATE & CONTROL THE ENTIRE PHARMACY DEAL. ONE WALGREENS WITH N 2 MILES OF EACH OTHER -SO WE ARE TALKING $$$$-AND QUANTITY VS. QUALITY-GOOD TO KNOW THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PROFILED WITH CHRONIC DISEASES AND PAIN. THAT REALLY BURNS ME UP/I AM DISCUSTED WITH HOW THEY BUG YOU TO REFILL A MED AND YOU DON'T EVEN PUT IN AN ORDER-& IT IS ON YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE-YOUR SCRIPT IS READY FOR PICK UP! WHAT IS UP WITH THAT.? AS FOR THE CVS -THINK OF MARKETING LIKE BURGER KING &MCDONALDS. l
Gtrplayer,
It's because a few years ago, RiteAid went into this mass expansion, trying to compete with WalGreens. they expanded too quickly and ended up having to shut down numerous stores. CVS expanded and bought out many of the old Rite Aid stores.
Walgreens violated the HIPPA act by giving out personal healthcare information over the telephone to my ex-husband. It is illegal not to mention unethical for pharmacies or other healthcare facilities to disclose personal information to people unless authorized to do so by the patient. Not only did they violate my privacy, but when asked about the incident, the pharmacist just blew me off and did not reassure me that this would not happen again in the future. I did not appreciate the fact that personal heathcare information was so easily provided over the phone, and even worse was their attitude regarding the incident and their lack of commitment to adhering to the HIPPA law in the future. Hence, I switched to cvs.
I typically go to a CVS a block away from my house. They usually are less than friendly there, I've tried to small-talk with them before to be polite and their responses are usually just "yes" or "no". They usually don't say more than "sign here" "5 dollar co-pay". Some techs are nicer than others of course....
as far as dirty looks go, I remember going to a different CVS to get 20 hydro's and they give me all sorts of stare downs and stink-eyes because of my young age. They were just about to hand it to me then they said "hold on a second! stay there!", I waited while the pharmacist punched some keys on his computer (probley triple checking to see if my doctor/prescription was real).
I think I want to switch to a mom & pop type pharmacy.

I have to get mine filled at my employer because of my insurance, so they know that they're legit prescriptions. Saves any staredowns thank god.
The drugs are very similar and at the molecular level; as the name reflects, oxycodone differs from hydrocodone by only a single oxygen atom attached to hydrocodone replacing a hydrogen atom with a hydroxyl group (-OH). Very minor structural differences in molecules can have profound affects in activity, however in this case only a subtle difference is observed. Most references will report that oxycodone is slightly more potent than hydrocodone, but I have spoken with patients and doctors who say that some believe that hydrocodone works better for them for pain relief--in general, you'll hear that oxycodone works better. The precise molecular mechanism of these drugs has not yet been elucidated
I myself have degenerative disc disease that has rendered all of my lumbar discs to be flattened, protruding and devoid of water. This condition has diasabled me and I am no longer in the workforce. Two independent evaluations from a nuerosurgeon and an orthopedic surgeon gave me 50/50 odds that surgery could help, so I opted out of surgery and continue with yoga and drugs. I take 80mg extended release oxycodone every 6-hours and 5mg oxycodone for "break though" pain. I have built up to this level after over two years of taking these drugs--due to tolerance these seemingly astronomic levels barely affect me, but they do still help. I know that I am physically dependent to the drug because if I go more than 24hrs without the drug I start sweating profusely and feel flu-like, but I still feel that by tapering off the drug properly I would not suffer severe withdrawal symptoms and could completely stop the drug.
All this said, I would surely not be worried about trying oxycodone--the difference compared to hydrocodone will most likely be subtle. Good luck!
Addiction and tolerance are two different things, although if either a tolerant or an addicted patient stops taking a drug cold-turkey, they will both go into withdrawal.
Some pain/addiction theory actually calls for the use of oxycontin (or another sustained-release formula) as superior to the immediate-release opioid formulations. The reason is that the sustained-release usually stays in your system at a more steady amount. An immediate-release formula can give you too much medication (and a slight buzz) followed by a trough when you feel lousy and your pain returns, fueling your body's response for more pain medication. In fact, on of the worst abuse-prone drugs, oxycontin, is abused by bypassing the sustained-release mechanism so as to release all the oxycodone into the system at once. Oxycontin taken as prescribed by a knowledgeable doctor for legitimate pain is certainly tolerance-forming, but in many opinions LESS addictive than percocet.
I think there is a little more difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone than just a single oxygen molecule replacing a hydrogen one. If thats the case, that why is one chemical name oxycodone hydrochloride and one is hydrocodone bitartrate, the full names for the chemicals. I know Percodan has a very small amount of something called oxycodone terepthalate, only .33mg and 4.5mg oxycodone hcl as well as 325mg of aspirin so I am not sure if these are the same or what. I am no chemical expert and just know things from what I've read and heard albeit from legitimate sources. Any ideas?

I have had Psoriatic Arthritis (in all joints) since I was 17, I'm now 45.
It is a progressive arthritis that is very dibilitating and degenerative. My joints are fused and basically I live in a daily fog of pain. I am taking 10mg of Perc's 6x a day with no relief. I am looking at pain management options and would appreciate anyone's input. I have read some postings on oxy vs. roxi and them being used together safely. What are the differences in them and can they be combined safely and at what dosages? I am a newbie when it comes to anything stronger than Perc's. Living in pain!
10mg six times per day, you might think about going to a long acting pain med if your doctor is willing. With taking the Percocet that often, you're going through a lot of mountains and troughs. With a long acting pain medicine, you'll hopefully get some baseline relief, with the Percocet (or any other regular release medication) being prescribed to use as needed for pain flare ups. Finding a good long acting pain medicine isn't an easy thing to do, so don't expect it to work right away.
That being said, you may actually find that the LA pain meds do give you better relief in a quick fashion.
As far as Roxi & Oxy combinations, they both contain the same active ingredients. Roxicette is basically Percocet, and Roxicodone is Oxycodone. The only difference is the manufacturer.

I have to disagree with all that say watson makes a superior hyro! I think its awful. Takes longer to kick in with much less effect. Kaiser Permanente's generic vicodin rocks. They have a cursive "v" on them, much better product. No complaints with their Norco though.
I wouldn't worry about taking the whole 10mg of oxycodone if you are taking vicodin 10mg you won't even notice nothing at all except for maybe your pain won't be there. If you have ever went to the hospital some doctors prefer vicodin for pain and other prefer oxy for pain there isn't much differnce i could take 4 of those and nothing would happen rather than i wouldn't have any pain
someone bumped a old post here
im not a dr but i play one on tv.
Kaiser Permanente's is this the name of the man that owns Vintage Pharmacueticals? The ones with the Cursive V on them?
I was always under the impression that the pills with the cursive v on them was Qualitest pharmaceuticals?
the differences in hydrocodone and oxycodone are very distinct. oxycodone is simply stronger. if they are the 10mg then they are the strongest as well.
but there are similarities
as said by a few of you is they r both opiates but the oxycodone is mixed with a different chemical called acetominophen or something like they "bad spelling"
hope this helps
From the comments I've seen, people say that oxycodone is about 1.5 times as strong and may last longer than hydrocodone. I am currently researching oxycodone because when I took it, I found it to be much more like codine (codeine), a non-synthetic opioid than hydrocodone, a synthetic opioid (and a much "cleaner" drug than codine). Actually, the first thing I noticed whas that I was less clear headed than I was with hydrocodone and there were many more undesirable side effects similar to regular codine. I've just gotten started researching this but my personal experience is what it is.

That thread was started over a year ago, March 27, of 2007.
I think most of the members on the site know the difference between oxycodone and hydrocodone by now, even those who do not take either.
Hydrocodone also, most commonly, uses acetaminophen in it's preparations. That is not what sets oxycodone apart from hydrocodone. They are two different chemicals, that fall in the same therapeutic class of drugs.

Just in-case someone here didn't know Oxycontin is oxycodone it's just extended release. All these drugs r the same percocet just has apap, roxicodone is for breakthrough pain, n Oxycontin like i said b4 is for extended release, but there all the same chemical drug
Chemically, there is a difference between Oxy and hydro. From a pain-killer perspective, Oxy comes way out on top.
I am a multi-arthritic patient; rheumatoid and fibromyalsia together are the worst for me.
Hydro, you can get refills on; oxy is a class 2 narcotic - monthly Dr visit to get your script. Oxycodone is currently used as a generic for oxycontin; but a legal battle based on "contin" patent won; so you won't be seeing the substitution for oxycontin by oxycodone in the very near future.. Just FYI from a chemist and long-term chronic pain sufferer w/ breakthroughs.
This does not make any sense.

It has opiod comparisons. Hydrocodone is not as powerful as oxycodone
