I am wondering if any one knows the strength of liquid Hydro vs. Tablet Form. I have a bottle of Liquid Hydrocodone that actually says Hydrocodone 7.5/ Tylenol. Its not tussinex etc. It is a clear liquid. It also says generic equivilant of hydrocodone elx. It doses at 1tsp. every 6 hours as needed. I am wondering if 1tsp is equal to one 7.5 hydrocodone pill? I hope one of u regular posters will know for sure. Thanks for all your info. DB
Your hydrocodone liquid is lortab elixir- or the generic equivalent. It is not a cough medication, it is the liquid form of the tablet. Some people can not tolerate tablets, especially after bariatric surgeries. Also, some people are unable to swallow pills for a variety of reasons, so the liquid form is better suited for them.
