 Call your pharmacist

Call your pharmacist tomorrow, they would know about your insurance coverage..no way anyone here could know the answer.

It has been my experience

It has been my experience that, if the dosage changes, insurance treats it as a new prescription and will cover it.  Of course, not knowing what kind of insurance you have, it is hard to say whether or not you will have the same experience.

My Xanax XR was increased to 1mg BID, from 0.5mg BID within a week of having the 0.5mg script filled due to a family emergency.  I had no problem going in and picking up the new script, but this is a CIV, not a CII.  I really, really think that as long as the dosage changes, or the instructions change, Insurance will pick it up.
