I'm certain this topic had been covered on this site before but I would appreciated any feedback on this thread about it... I just got my new Clonozapam 2mg # 90 filled today and the pharmacy I got them from I thought had the ones that read the fany E over 65 for 2 mg. But i got the whtie circle's 93 over 834. I appreciates anyones opinion on what they thing about the topic. Somone took a 2 and a half barz(xanax) Fri and Sat nite and was totally wrecked, doesn't remember much and and was told they acted very intoxicated. Now today they took 9 2mg Klonopins and if the charts are correct, Alprazolam and Clonozopam are the same streghth essentially. But they had no effect on on him at all. Now he took another 18 about an hour ago(he has a huge tolerance and tells me so far he feels nuthing. This makes no sence to me, any thoughts??
I have had the E 65 2mg clonazepam before. I believe they are sandoz brand and are just as good as the other generics in my opinion...never noticed much of a difference. and to the person who took 27 2mg clonazepam i am surprised they are not in a coma or dead. xanax and klonopin are supposed to be equal in potency and it is my belief that the clonazepam is actually a little stronger.
Thats what I was under the impression of. That's why I don't understand.
what i was told by a pharmacist, who was a friend, not someone i did not know, is that they are close in strength, BUT the xanax kicks in quickly, but only lasts 4-6 hrs, depending on the dose. The kpins take about 45mins to kick in, but are supposed to last 8-12 hrs. I am on kpins, about 4mgs a day, and i can say the 2mgs i take in the a.m. lasts me until usually 6 or 7 at night, and i take them at 6 or 7 in the a.m. BUT everybody is different. I have a good tolerance though so i could take more and do sometimes, depending on what i am dealing with and being stressed out by.
As fro what I said about the dosages and how long they last etc, maybe DR LOIS or someone with experience could shed some light.
Xanax® is a triazolobenzodiazepine essentially meaning it works rapidly within the body, Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine, and lacks the extra triazolo ring. Its in the spelling of the chemicals Xanax is AlprazoLAM Klonopin is ClonazePAM. Different chemical essentially. I find clonazepam to be much more therapeutic than alprazolam without the dissociation that often accompanies high doses of Xanax®

For some reason, I don't have an edit button on this thread, but I wanted to edit that word to fancy before the E 65 and tehen kind of seperate the 2 subjects.... the gnerics and the the person who took benzos with the tolerance.
