Hello to all board members. Hope all is well. My first question is this....Does anyone have any experience with taking Levo-Dromoran? What were the results i.e relief from pain as well as side effects. My second question is how does it compare to such meds as Vicodin ES or HP. Would it be as helpful as Dilauded 4mg. Or something like Oxycontin 20mg. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Upon my research on this med I've been finding its not a very popular one.
Im sorry I can't give you any info from experience, but using Rawoody's Opioid Comparison chart, I can give you the following comparisons.
(These are just rough estimates in relation to each other, and use codeine as a base for our conversions)
Levorphanol is 80x stronger than codeine
Hydromorphone is 50x stronger than codeine
Oxycodone is 15x stronger than codeine
Hydrocodone is 6x stronger than codeine
So you can say Levorphanol is 5x stronger than Oxycodone, and 13x stronger than hydrocodone. And about 1.6x stonger than Hydromorphone.
