Mallincrockd't Generic Hydrocodone Very Ineffective Why??

I have been taking hydrocodone regularly due to illness for almost 10 years regularly prescribed by my doctor. I am also taking diazepam.  Recently, my default pharmacy switched from Watson generic blue egg shaped pills of Lortab 10/500 to Mallincrockd't brand and I have noticed a very big difference in pain relief on the negative side. Very poor quality. This cannot be psychological. Too big of a difference noticed. An infrequent user's body and or brain would probably not notice the difference as I do as there would be nothing to compare to. Why does this generic manufacturer produce ineffective medications and how does the FDA allow Mallincrockdt to shelve this medication. I have had various types, Norco 10/325, Lorcet 10/650 as well as generic Vicodin 5/500 all from Mallincrockdt and they all look the same. Flat oval pills white in color and all of their pills look the same. Why do these react this way and has anyone else noticed this problem??? There has to be a different ingredient than other generics. Watson, Danbury, UCB, they all work just fine except for these Mallincrockdt pills. They are alot cheaper at pharmacies than the other generic manufacturers. I use insurance so same price. Can anyone help me answer or help me figure out why this is??  Being a regular user of this medication, may that be why I am noticing the strong differential in effectiveness?

Mallinckodt

Hey Swatdog...You are only one of thousands of people who feel exactly the same way as you do!  This includes me.  I'm on Methadone and have been for about five years.  Early on, when I was getting my monthly script filled at my regular pharmacy, they filled it with Mallinckodt's Methadose.  Since I had several prior months of my meds filled and got Roxane's Methadone, I knew the difference immediately.  A few days later, I went back to my pharmacy and told them (they all know me, as I'm a regular there) I only wanted Roxane brand of Methadone and I would not accept Methadose.  So, for the last five years, I have only had my scripts filled with the Roxane product and not the inferior Methadose by Mallinckodt!
