This is from

This is from Medscape.com

Multi-Drug Interaction Checker

Patient Regimen

ASPIRIN ORAL
PLAVIX ORAL
LEXAPRO ORAL
CARTIA XT ORAL
DIGOXIN ORAL

Interactions

Moderate Interaction
DIGOXIN/CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS
Digoxin Oral and Cartia XT Oral may interact based on the potential interaction between DIGOXIN and CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS.
SSRI'S/NSAIDS; ASPIRIN
Lexapro Oral and Aspirin Oral may interact based on the potential interaction between SSRI'S and NSAIDS; ASPIRIN.

Both of these interactions were rated a "3", which indicates a Moderate interaction.  I don't want to cut and paste the entire page, it would be even larger than this response already is.  However, you can sign up for a free Medscape account and access the same information.  I would encourage you to do this, as it goes into more details regarding these interactions.

I'm not a doctor, pharmacist, intern, or anything else related to medicine. This information specifically, comes from Medscape.com. I just entered the medications that you mentioned into an interaction checker, and this is the printout of interactions that their site found.

Get a new doctor

Hi,

If it is at all possible, I would just advise your mom to get a new doctor. If she can't trust this ones' decision now, then she will be in the same predicament each time she is prescribed something. i.e. go to a new doctor if possible and get a second opinion, and basically stay away from foreign pharmacists as sometimes their degrees can be a bit sketchy in the end anyway.
