It seems I have heard in the news, internet, or from some other source that oxycodone is a stronger medication for pain relief than morphine. Can anyone tell me if this is true? If so, how much more stronger is it? Twice as strong? Three times? I could be wrong but I thought I once heard that oxycodone is 5 or 10 times stronger than morphine. So you would have to possibly take up to 100mg of morphine to be equivalent to 10mg of oxycodone? That sounds like a stretch to me, but what do I know, since I have done no research, nor do I have any medical or pharmaceutical training.

Never mind. I just found Rawoody's conversion table that was posted. If I read it correctly a person would have to take 15-20mg of Morphine to be equivalent to 10mg of Oxycodone. If I done the math right.
