My doctor wrote me a prescription for Oxycontin 20mg brand name. She did this becaue she had a coupon for the brand name, 60 bucks off. I have taken 3 10 mg percocets before at the same time and I'll tell you that one 20 mg oxycontin feels stronger. I actually feel really good then about 2 hours in I get a little nauseaus. Not sure why becasue I used to take 2 percocet 10s together all the time and never got nauseaus. Someone explain to me why this is.

spence could it be that you just havnt taken the percs in a while and your tolerance went down because I think 30mg immediate release feels closer to an oc 40. So although the oxycontin lasts longer it does feel slightly weaker. this is just what i have found though.
I am not sure this is truly a guess as I am not in the medical field at all but I think it is because the Oxycodone is stronger perhaps and also if it is the OXYer then is stays in your body for 12 hours. I am not a doctor and would suggest you speak to your doctor concerning this and do not take my OPINION as medical advice.
