I have a question I know it sounds stupid but me and my girlfriend was prescribed the same medacine.We where both precriber percocet 10/325 mine are white and have m 523 on the back.And her's are yellow and have a 712 I think.I know they are made by a diffrent manifacture.But what does the w-apap mean.I have that on my bottle and she dosent.Dont think im crazy we just want to know the diffrece.Thanks to anyone who can help us.

Insurance
Does one of you have insurance, and the other not? The one without insurance usually will get what will be cheapest to the consumer. At least, at my pharmacy, if you are without insurance you usually get the cheapest medicine. With insurance, you get the more expensive versions. But then again, I go to a little pharmacy that knows most of it's customers like family, so that may not be the case everywhere.

That's definitely not all pharms. I know that when I go to CVS they give me the cheapest no matter what. But, when I switched to a smaller one they always researched until they found just the right one that suited me.

APAP is the standard abbreviation for Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
Your med is a Oxycodone/APAP combo 10/325
Meaning it has 10mg Oxycodone and 325mg Acetaminophen.
Both M523 and 712 are the same meds, different mfg like you said.
As for one saying w/apap on the label and the other not, I don't know. If they were filled at different pharmacies, that may be the reasoning, differences in computer programs used for printing the labels. Or it may just be that they were entered into the computer differently.
OxyIR or Roxicodone is an immediate release form of Oxycodone with OUT Acetaminophen. OxyContin contains Oxycodone (no APAP) in a controlled release form.
