And is being sent to stores, so regardless of the rumors that there will be no more generic oxycontins, there is.
The FDA is usually slow about updating there site, but they still have no therapuetic equivalent (generic) for Oxycontin listed. Its possible that TV's pharmacist found a distributor that still has some generic Teva's in stock and will have those on hand in the near future. PurduePharma will hold its patent until April 16th, 2016.(Coinsidently <--spp. todays date) But its possible that they will lease the rights to a generic company before then.
Solo I think that is absolutly correct. Something as important to patients such as a new generic Oxycodone ER would be at least posted one time and I have been looking for hours for the last month. If you look at the TEVA products Oxycodone ER are no longer listed
Hello again,, anyway he said they were on their way as he filled mine w/leftover teva,s they had, actually they still owe me 5 as thats all they had and the new shipment is from a new maker of these generics, i honestly do not remember what he said the name of the company that is making them was called,, something starting w/a G in the name.
I told him that no more generics were to be made as of the beginning of 2008 and he said oh yes he knew that but they got info on their computer from their supplier that this new company will be making these new generic oxycontins.
If someone here knows a name of a company or companies that start with the letter G that make generics and post some here maybe i will recall the name if i see it.
TV Tech, If that is really true it will save me exactly $194.00 I do beileve you but I sure hope that the pharmacist did not make an honest mistake, for I really might have a huge descion to make and go to the the Morphine ER tablet's and that would be a huge hassle because my doctor has a 6 parts morphine to 5 parts oxycodone which would not work with me. I would be under medicated to say the least,so I would probably have to pay the $200 for the PF brand. As much as a wonderful doctor she is by way of taking as long as you need to discuss medical problems and to never feel rushed, she has a preety strict policy of keeping what works for you current and try to keep it at that level, and I cannot blame her. That is why I probably will stay with the Oxycodone ER's Well soon I will find out for I just came from the phamacy and the pharmacist still had the 40 mg TEVA brand Oxycodone ER, but soon the shelve's will be empty of those generics according to her. I imagine by how long my post is one can see how serious this is to me.
From what ive just read it looks as to be true as im seeing the company ethex making them now as posted here at this site
TV Please post it. I just got off the Ethex products and did not see them at all ethex.com/pages/prod_page.asp?PRID=58177046204
I dont buy this . Not unless its a sister company of purdue. purdue holds that patent for a long time..
There is no more generic oxycontin....it would be illegal for any pharm company to produce them. Ethex just started making 10mg and 20mg formulations of oxycodone immediate release...perhaps that is what they are referring to but it isn't generic oxycontin.

TV Today I just got my TEVA 40's Which brand are you reffering to? Could you give a description of them? I have not yet heard of a new generic out and this is very important to me by way of a difference of $195.00
