Can anyone tell me their experiences on these 2 meds, seperately or together?

I know Relafen is an NSAID that is "supposed" to have a low risk of stomach problems, but I have been on so many NSAIDS, and they all cause stomach problems.  The stomach problems usually begin right away after taking them... is that typical for someone who would experience this side effect or I am a "special" case?  Also wondering how long after discontinuing taking this med would that bad side effect last.  I was prescribed that, but have a trip to go on this weekend, and my brilliant doctors want me to "try" it even though I'll be in a car for about 6 hours... if I took today and had bad reaction, would that normally last a few days or go away if i didn't take anymore...

What are the side effects for Skelaxin, and how well does that help with low back pain in your experiences?  Thanks.

I was prescribed the

I was prescribed the skelaxin for supposed muscle spasms in my leg but it didn't seam to help with that at  all. Made me kinda dazed and confused. I did find it to help me relax before bed and ease my back pain. As far as the NSAID's I also stay away from them and even the flector patch caused me to have stomach discomfort. I have hart burn for weeks after taking any nsaids (they are evil). The do work well though sadly I just can't take them. This is a common problem for this class of drugs and now they offer a starter pack of naproxen with prevacid lol. They know about the stomach problems from these drugs and the dmg to your liver but are scared to prescribe narcotics because they work better, don't dmg your organs, have low risk for abuse <1% when taken properly to to get a buzz.

Well unfortunately I took

Well unfortunately I took the Relafen despite my "gut" telling me not to, and now my "gut" is cramped and I'm having loose stool... and now I've read online about all these lawsuits about Relafen, and I'm worried....

I have felt no relief from the skelaxin, but like wildman said, I feel kinda dazed, but nothing major, and actually more alert than tired...

I called that PA back to tell them, but maybe I should listen to what my pharmasist told me yesterday (they didn't speak too highly of her based on what I told them about prescribing an NSAID reguardless of my telling them I can't take them)

Oh, and did I mention that she picked Skelaxin based on a coupon they had in the "back closet"... thanks lady for the coupon for drugs, but I would rather have something you feel works, not what a drug company tells you to promote... I had to stand in the pharmacy for 20 minutes while they were on hold with the company to verify the coupon... let me guess, after so many of the coupons are verified then the office gets "rewarded"...
