my gma threw a suit in my pm face, saying malpractice cuz im on enough narcotics to kill a horse. he d/c me and im tapering off in the next 11 days, but he told me when i turn 18, about a month now, to go to a different pain management doc. im not gunna graduate this year bc i dont have the percocet to go to school.

Casey, you should look into distance learning to do your classwork. I do not know if your school offers this or not, but there has to be some form of accommodations made by your school to try to help you graduate. Distance learning coarses are courses that can be completed via the internet, or video phone, webcam, etc..

My heart goes out to you ~ that is one bad case of scoliosis. You have a GP managing all your meds, not a pain management team?
You may consider seeking a referal through your local emergency room for a pain management team consult. Sometimes that gets the ball rolling better than a GP who is on the "watch list" for excessive Triplicate prescriptions. ( I am in Vancouver, Canada, so things here may be quite different)
Until your pain is dealt with appropriately, education may well take the back burner. (Percocet? All that acetamenophine [sic] can be catastrophic to the liver!)
A friend's daughter is in an accelerated learning school that is one on one, at her own pace, and all academic credited. There is generally no fees if the principal of your public school advises that you would be better in that specific environment.
Coming off those drugs in 11 days is ridiculous. Maybe request to get checked into a supevised detox pronto.

normal day - 155mg oxycodone
to
day 1 taper 60mg
day 4 40mg
day 7 20mg
day 10 10mg
day 13+ discontinue
btw i had some nice finds for u guys lol 3 manufacturer bottle endocet 7.5/325 100 count.
i'm not a pharmacist or doc don't listen to me i just have done alot of research on this stuff. talk to your doctor about it
Your 17 years old and on enough pain meds to kill a horse huh ? ? What exactly happened to you, and why is a pmd giving u so much pain medication ? ? And u cant go to school cause u dont have percocet ? ?
