I am new here. yesterday my doctor put me on morphine 120 mg ex. I had been on 70 mg of methadone. Can i expect withdrawel issues?

switching opiates
This is a question I can best answer myself since I'm living it.
( a correction: the morphine is ms cotin 120mg a day.) I stopped the methadone completey and began ms cotin. Two days later, (5ohrs.) symptoms are manageable. I am surprised by this but most likely this is still early on. My spouse has made me promise to go to a charity auction/dinner. I am a bit nervous about this.
A question that you probably should have asked your doctor about. Switching to or from methadone can be a tricky process, because it has such a long half-life.
