I just read one of the posts on here talking about how a tramadol is 1/4 as effective as a 5mg hydro...but what about the smaller tramadols' .... the 37.5 i think they are . How would they compare ?
Tramadol is reportedley equal to codeine. So 50mg Tramadol would equal 7.5mg Hydrocodone. Myself and my doctor however agree that 50mg Tramadol is more likely equal to only about 5mg Hydrocodone possibly less. Also the 37.5mg strength you refer to is Ultracet, which also contains 325mg acetaminophen. So with the apap and the tramadol working synergistically they (Ultram and Ultracet) in my opinion have about the same pain killing abilities. What I mean is, that One Ultram in my opinion is equal to One Ultracet.
