The makers of Tylenol have recalled more than 20 types of children's and infant's medications as a precaution against possible contamination. The liquid products were being voluntarily pulled from stores and warehouses because bacteria were detected in one of the inactive ingredients, the company said.

Thank you Goat! With a 10

Thank you Goat! With a 10 month old baby around this is the kind of stuff I need to know about. Since the babies insurance pays for prescription concentrated apap drops Ive only had to buy it twice off the shelf when we were out and about and forgot the stuff at home. One time was Tylenol Brand Cherry 80mg/0.8mL (about 6 months ago) cause it was on sale and the other was CVS which tastes way better, lol. Now I gotta dig around and find the Tylenol brand one and see if its bad. Wonder if/when store brands will realise they may be affected as well. It would be pretty rare for an inactive ingredient supplier to only supply one manufacturer. Again thanks!

I dont think you missed it. I

I dont think you missed it. I didnt get it either. It was also not listed at www.recalls.gov I guess since it was a voluntary recall initiated by the manufacturer instead of by the FDA it may not get listed in there database at all. This may be an incorrect assumption though. Also, I was made aware of the FDA being behind on updating some of there information on there websites, like www.fda.gov/cder this was according to a drug manufacturer so I confirmed it with the FDA. Not sure if this means that they are just behind a little on updating there recall information databases as well.
