Is it possible to test a person urines with a blood sample to prove that the urine sample provided is their own.
I started a new suboxone clinic and they said my urine was free of any drugs but was somewhat "off", whatever that meant. They wouldnt tell me. Anyways, they took a blood sample and sent the blood and urine samples to a lab. I honestly have stuck with my program to a tee. No BS. I do what I'm told, plain and simple.
I am just curious if it is actually possible to see if someones urine is their own through a blood sample. I can't get this thought out of my head - so I decided to ask you folks. The majority of you are smarter than the nurses that work at my docs office anyways.
doctored your urine they will know by your blood work.
Yes, there can be trace or even significant DNA in any and all bodily fluids including our waste products.
makes me think there was a issue with the creatine level, if it was hi they may thought You watered the sample.
the only other thing it could have been would be the level of medications be higher or lower than usual.
Woodstock
edit: the temperture being lower than 98 degrees would be a flag, an make a nurse take a second glance.
They are doing blood work to prove its my urine. Thats what I was wondering - if thats possible. I'm guessing it is.

I would say no on the urine matching. Urine is basically waste removed by the body, I dont believe there are any ways to determine if a certain urine belongs to a specific person. Blood on the other hand has specific types (a,o etc) and of course DNA which they could match to a specific person. Most likely what happened is that your levels of medicine were off and they sent off blood work because they can get more precise results through blood. Maybe you were drinking more water that day and your urine was more dilute? I dont know if that can effect levels or not.
