I have a question.. I know that both Watson 853 and M 367 both contain 10/325.   But I was wondering if by chance that the Watson is a bit stronger for some reason- is this true or all in my head?  For example, are Norco 10/325 weaker than Watson 10/325?

Theoretically no, but alot

Theoretically no, but alot of people prefer one over the other or vice versa you see it really depends on the patient, but as far as the strength goes there is really no way possible that one tablet could be stronger at least as mg for mg is concerned.

Agree

I absolutely agree with Da Purdue. The mgs's of hydrocodone could not change so the strength could not be adjusted. However, the fillers and by products that they do put it it differ from pill to pill and each person absorbs them at a different rate. So what may work faster, or seemingly better may be how your individual body is absorbing that pill. I hope this helps !!

Talked about before in this

Talked about before in this thread

Just my opinion, but I think that the one you take first is the one you become familiar with, and think of it as the superior product. Early on after my wreck, I never noticed I was getting different generics, let alone notice any different effects.

i think it depends on the

i think it depends on the person also b/c when i was in my first wreck i was perscribed lortab 10/650s and i was getting the m 361s the blue ones by mallinckrodt pharm and they worked great. then i had to go to a different pharm b/c my regular one was out and the other place gave me watson 503s the green ones, i thought they were garbage i found myself taking a half more. so i think its just how the body breaks it down or maybe the other cutting agents they add? i dont know but i have read on here that most people call mallinckrodt junk so different strokes for different folks

Norco vs Norco

I know this subject has been in question alot -I myself created a post on it a long time ago-I have found the mallinrott is NOT (in my system) an effective product. They go through my system very fast.20% is a big factor-even though it seems small next to 80%.I am able to get the mall, or the Qualitest. Very cool logol on them!Laughingthat V-for what ever reason it stays in my system longer & I don't "ITCH" from them vs. the mall.-Just my own personal experiance. hope it helps. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!

Does that count as a vote, Kirby? If so, there's another one for Qualitest:)

Logos - Off Topic Again!

Maybe this photo is a little clearer?  It really is a cool logo.

But I was thinking of starting the poll with US and Canadian logos.  We can always do another with 'other foreign'.  Or we can include foreign in this poll!  Whatever you all want we can do.

Perfect Kirby!

that is the pic i was looking for.

now that you mention it, i think you might be right. maybe we could (at your leisure, since i have no idea how) do a US/CA poll and then do a "rest of the world" poll?

sorry to get OT:( but this is a fun topic.

i think it is pretty cool how everyone has there own idea of what the best is, after all, it is good that we are all different.

as far as the Vintage logo goes though, i think their best one was a couple of logos back where they use to just put the tiny v under numbers. although that is just my two cents - i also like the 1982 braves and astros old unis better than the ones that i do now.

what about cut out logos

if she thinks the v from qualitest is so great what about the cut out v in the real valium pills, much cooler in my book.  I also think the script x on brand name xanax is really neat as well as the shape of their XR pills. We will have to do a poll with shape of pills next time.

just depends for me..

For me, it just depends on what kind of drug it is.. for example generic xanax (alprazolam) dont work near as well as me than the non generic.. but... it's probably all in my head. I'm almost positive it's all in my head actually. :) That's just my share in this conversation..probably no help at all. *giggles*

All in your head

I don't know what strength of xanex you are taking but we'll use 1mg for now....if your th blu football that said xaxex 1.0 on it or a blue football that said GG258 on it or the sigle G's or round mylan A1's, etc....they all contain 1 mg of alprazolam.

Which imprint are you

Which imprint are you exactly talking about so we could clarify what you tablet is.

Technically, if it said

Technically, if it said Xanex on it, you should take it back. Someone gave you a non existant pill.  And, Xanax doesn't have either of those two imprints given by the OP.

Less for more

This is a great question,

I was prescribed percocet for my back, when I went online to see if I could buy it cheaper I seen so many different prices for the same count and same dosage.

So when I ask my pharmacist why this is, he explained to me that generic vs name brand the generic has to be in a certain “percentage” of the name brand strength.

So my understanding is that generic has to be no more then 15% less then full strength and each pharmaceutical company differs with in this 15%.

I hope this helps.

Now I would like to also say I have not done any other research other then asking my pharmacist. And by no means am I an expert so as always asking a medical professional is always the best answer to any medication question.

I've heard 10%, 20%, 40% and

I've heard 10%, 20%, 40% and now 15%. Someone also said that their average still has to be the same. Meaning that if 1 out of 10 tablets are 10% less than the advertised dosage than 1 out 10 have to be 10% more than the advertised dose. Or 9 of 10 have to be 1% more. Does it make sense?

Either way the jury is still out on exactly what the law is...I'll research it some more
