Is it possible to have withdrawls from short term use of pain meds. By pain meds I mean like lortab and percocet. How long do you have to use it before you start to get withdrawls
I have been on lortab for about 3 weeks now and I just ran out. The prescription was for 30 tabs and I have another appointment tomarrow with the doctor. If I got my prescription filled on the 11the of July and he gives me another prescription tomarrow will my insurance help with the cost, ( I have Aetna insurance). If not how much do generic lortab 7.5/500 or percocet 5/325 cost and brand name too.
We would also need to know how many tablets you are suppose to be taking a day to be able to give you an answer. If the directions say to take 2 tablets a day for example those 30 tablets are only a 15 days supply so you are already 7 days over do for a refill. But if you are only suppose to be taking them once a day then you are 7 days early, so insurance will probably not pick up any of the tab unless the doctor writes it for something other than what you already had. There are also other things such as monthly quantity limits that may allow you to get the script filled on insurace.
Cash price for 30 hydro/apap 7.5/500 should between $10.41 (costco)-$18ish(walgreens) tops, probably the same range for the generic percocet as well.
Well the bottle said to take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. If I would have done that then they would have lated me less than a week. The doc didnt really specify how I should take them he just said hed give me something for the pain. Thanks for the info on the cost.
As in every case we're all made up of different pieces & parts so
