Can anyone tell me how long it takes for Xanax to not show up on any urine tests? The person I am refering to weight about 130 and takes approximately 1 per day. Unsure of the dose, but the pill says gg 257 on it. Thanks much
The pill is 0.5 mg alprazolam.
WHOOOAAA!!! SORRY...THE AVERAGE HALF LIFE OF XANAX IS 11.2 HOURS, NOT 80...OR EVEN CLOSE! I MUST HAVE HAD IT MIXED UP WITH ANOTHER BENZO, THEY RANGE SO MUCH, FOR INSTANCE, VALIUM IS A FEW HUNDRED HOURS...that's range!
HERE YOU GO... ALL THE INFO YOU WILL NEED IS RIGHT HERE ON THIS LINK http://web4health.info/en/answers/bio-benzo-overview.htm SO YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT WITH THIS CHART AND ADDITIONAL INFO.

Xanax .5 mg doesn't stay in your body more than 24 hours. I don't know about any drug tests though - every body is different so it may be flushed out of one person in 24 hours but the next person may be 5 days. Self medicating (if that is the case) isn't the best way to go
Benzodiazepines such as Xanax take about three days if taken
periodically , One month for a 4mg and higher user and ,
years after chronic use ,someone who abuses them .
I can't thank you enough for your quick answers. I knew there was something somewhere about the half life of this stuff, but I was in an extreme hurry at the moment and a friend of mine (in law enforcement) was concerned????? I didn't have time to ready all the stuff on this forum about it, but I usually do take the time to type in a search before I ask questions. You guys rule.

Type benzodiazepines or Xanax, or something like that in the search box up in the right hand corner. There has been a chart posted on here of all the half lives and strengths of all major benzo's, i believe...
I think that is what matters, "the half-life" as that is how long it remains in the bloodstream. Again, i am no doctor, but have been on Xanax and Valium and Klonopin for a brain injury (that incl. seizures) so i have a lot of experience in using it...
I think the average half-life of Xanax is approx 80 hrs... i am sure you'll get better info soon, as there are knowledgeable members about...
