I have insurance in the form of major medical for surgeries and biggies like that but I don't have anything to cover Dr. visits and prescription medications.I have a job and do ok for myself making $55,000 per year. At that salary I don't qualify for any state assistance and I am more than happy to pay for a plan but some of the prices are crazy.I don't live in a vacuum I still have a mortgage, utilities and such. My question do any of you know of a reputable company that at least can cover prescriptions and even better Dr. visits also? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Like it or not my life's journey has taken me to some health problems that can't be ignored and I am in need of some help. So, thanks and have a great day!! Greg

Look in your yellow pages for

Look in your yellow pages for an independent insurance agent.  Most independents can write through several carriers.  Tell them what your needs are.  Insurance is like any other biz, they want to take in more than they pay out.  If you have claims they may deny to re-write you.  Take care, htmom

Greg:

I m for sure that there are insurance providers that would write an sell you a policy, but I think that the cost aspect would either be higher or just as hi, an that excludes co-pays an deductibles.

I would check any that sell Humana part D, or MUTUAL OF OMAHA, more than likely they have a plan, if it s affordable will be the next question.
