The poll will be up for 2 days...It does not matter if you have a script or not. Please vote.

online ordering

Hey Goat....new to the site officially, but have been visiting for 2 years. Is there a safe and effective way of ordering vicodin/norco online? I broke my back 2 years ago and have decided to go to the streets instead of dealing with my Quack doctor.......just curious if it was legal and basically any info you have would be appreciated.

If you have a script

and are dealing with a reputable online company you can get meds online no problem...we  don't talk about online ordering sites so good luck.....remember you still gotta have a script from your dr. to be legal

why

why if u had a script from your dr u wouldnt just got to the corner and sit for 15min and then walk out with your med in hand and not wondering if u have actually a legit med or not? i just figured those sites were for people getting them w/out a script. and the prices i have seen are outrageous from most online pharmacy's. and i figured if they were really cheep, if it smells like s... look like s.... it must be s....? rite wrong?  i say no i would not use one unless i knew for sure what it was all about, and i dont know of anyone that has used one. maybe if i was really old and couldnt go to the corner would i use one, but then in that case someone can just pick them up for you.

I say bad idea...I think it

I say bad idea...

I think it would be impossible to establish any kind of trusting relationship with an online pharmacy. Ive come to find its important. Things run smoother, especially with insurance hassels. Also, for most of us time is an issue. I dont have time, nor do I want to pay to rush my script to an online pharmacy. I have a hard enough time getting meds on time now with the doctor not giving me the script too soon and then waiting for the PER (Pharmacy Exception Request-approval process to cover non formulary drugs) to be approved let alone add mail time there and back.

I have received Norco from a legit online company inbetween insurances & doctors. I faxed my medical records, rx history, & had a phone consult with a doctor and he wrote a script and sent it to a pharmacy which mailed it to me. I dont think they allow this anymore but I dont think its a good idea on any kind of regular basis it was only an emergency deal. Plus it did cost a fortune, after paying for the doctor and script it was $300 for 90.

Goats Poll

Hey Goat,

I use my online pharmacy for all scripts other than contolled meds.  I get those all at the same local pharmacy order to cut down on the number of people handling my life line.  I know mail order offers it, but I'm always afraid if they won't show and I'm screwed.  All my other maintenence drugs I am in  only allowed to buy 3 times from local pharmacy and the my co-pay goes to like 75% me 25% insurance company.  They basically blackmail you into using mail order.

Even legit sites (some) have ridiculous prices.

Socs does your prescription

Socs does your prescription drug company own CVS?  I can't remember all the details but there were some wrong doings by the mail order company that owns CVS (vice versa).  It was on the news maybe 6 months ago.  I had drug coverage with that particular company and I was supposed to use a CVS to get generics at $5.00.  Needless to say there is not a CVS within a 50 mile radius.    My pharmacist had to call and to be told by the company of the details.  He was furious and told them what he thought.  I never saw those details, I think that was the point.  I think the mail order is Caremark, not sure though.  Anyway, htmom

Never had a Problem

You are correct Caremark is the name of the CVS mail order company.  However, I have never had an issue with them.  I guess the is a blackmark on everything if you look hard enough....

My 2 cents

The problem was not being

The problem was not being able to use a retail (for generics) pharmacy even though my pharmacy was on the list and the approved for in network retail.  The crazy thing was I could not get generics even through mail order for $5.00.  You had to go to CVS retail.  It had shady all over it.  My generic fentanyl patches are over $200.00 for 10 patches, I didn't have to look hard.  Needless to say I found a new drug company for the next year.  I love my mom and pops pharmacy, I was getting about $800.00 worth of meds at the time.  That's why my pharmacist was so upset.  Caremark years earlier would mail my Avinza first class without delivery confirmation or any way to track it.  Crazy!!!  Take care, htmom
