who decides to delete posts- Mine was

I am responsible for editing and deleting posts.

Pharmer.org is a message board for users to identify pill imprints and to discuss topics about prescription and other ethical drugs. There is no age restriction because we expect people to act in an adult manner and to be polite. We also expect people to adhere to rules and not discuss anything illegal. Our rules are as follows:

We have three simple rules for posting:

1. Please don't use profanity or other vulgar language.
2. Please don't promote or encourage illegal activities.
3. If you use information verbatim from another source, please credit that source.

Circumstances this week dictate that we must add another rule:

Do not criticize or argue with others. Present your side of the argument in an objective manner preferably by citing legitimate sources.

As our membership grows, so do problems. Each unique individual has his own strong opinions, and it's understandable that personality conflicts will arise. But Pharmer.org is not the website to flame or criticize others. These posts will be edited or deleted and, in some circumstances, the users will be banned.

I had to edit and delete many comments in the last couple of days and don't recall your post. You have been helpful in the past, so I'm sure it's not anything you said.

Late yesterday I deleted one entire thread and edited many posts. This morning, immediately upon receiving an alert from another member, I deleted about eight posts in another thread. If I delete a comment, all replies are deleted too (whether they are good or bad). I can't pick and choose which comments to keep. I start with the first offensive post and usually everything that follows is deleted.

I hope this helps clarify the situation.

notice, it did not say

"Pharmer is a place to talk about peoples abilities to quit medicine and the best way to go about them".

it just plain didnt.

PO is a fine acronym, i just didnt catch it right off hand.

usually i use TP but it is all one and the same i guess.

the first thing that popped in my head was the "police officers", and then i thought to myself..."man...that is cool, even the police know how awesome we are".
