Looking to ID a light blue round tablet, smooth and plain on one side, the other side has a 44 over 189. I thought it might be sominex but has no S imprint at all..... could it be generic or something else? Any ideas would help, we're very worried about a friend, thanks
the pill you speak of could very
possibly be a generic klonopin 10mg
or a generic valium 10mg. klonopin will
taste (minty) while valium will be sweet
possibly be a generic klonopin 10mg
or a generic valium 10mg.
Umm, No.
The pill is just as it listed above your post,
Diphenhydramine 25mg (Sominex/Benadryl)
an over the counter antihistamine.
All pills marked 44 XXX are over the counter meds made by LNK International.
And tasting a pill is not exactly a very scientific or safe way to ID a pill.
I've used sominex in the past but the active ingredient is promethazine. You can get it over the counter in Ireland but only in the form of a sryup (works out much more expensive than the UK tablets). Long term use of these drugs can result in tolerance but not dependence. Like the guy above mentioned they have a hangover effect. I took one a few days ago to sort out my sleep pattern after exams and ended up going back to bed the next morning as I couldn't function. Perhaps you should get some advice on sleep hygiene rather than relying on drugs.
edit/g
Your pill is generic sominex made by LNK.
