the only active ABG listings I can find all show them as WATSON Morphines ....... but only in 15, 30, 60, 100, & 200

The only listing I see for the ABG 10 is a discontinued oxycontin by WATSON.  There is a picture of it here under the COMMON IMPRINTS, and it is EXACTLY the pills I have

someone here had this to say tho:

"ABG 10 would be morphine.  The ABG10 Oxycontin's never made it to the shelves.  20mg did, as well as 40, 80, and 160.  160 has been d/c'd.  80 has been restricted to BID dosing.  10mg was pulled by Purdue after initial testing.  That being said, depending on how old they are, they might be unshelved oxycontin.

The cutoff date was June 17, 2007 for generic manufacturers to stop producing Oxycontin"

Can anyone shed more light on this subject?  If I can't find any ABG 10's in the morphine lists, should I assume I have the OXY's and not the Morphine..  God I hope so, b/c I have a bunch and I hate the Morphines.

Please...input would be appreciated.  Would like to know if the 85, round, white, bi-convex pills I have with ABG on one side, and 10 on the other.....are morphines or OXY's

I am fairly confident that

I am fairly confident that your tablet is 10mg oxycodone, extended release.  Unfortunately, Watson's website does not include the picture of their generic Oxycontin anymore, so I can not find a picture.

However; when looking at Morphine images on the Watson website, the lowest dose of ER morphine was 15mg, and that tablet was blue.

I am pretty confident you have 10mg of Oxycodone.

I'm looking for a picture

N/A Type: Analgesic Comment: Image from Ivax before Watson became sole distributor. Imprint is now discontinued. Imprint ABG10Click thumbnail for more info.

This is oxycodone 10mg, controlled release.
Also, June 14th, not 17th, was the date listed for generic Oxycontin manufacturers to stop production. There are a couple of MFGs that can still produce the tablet.

Even though Solo Is correct

Solo Is correct above I just wanted to say that I know someone who used to be perscribed the ABG 15 and they are extended release morphine sulfate 15mg. The person is now up to using the 60mg generics due to a couple years passing of tolerance build up.

So this is kind of a double confirmation.
