I have a bottle of white and red capsules I found with no label on it. There are almost 30 of them in the bottle and I remember seeing and all red capsule that was generic Percocet. Also, on some of the capsules, the Barr is on the red half and the 658 on the white half, and on some of the other Barr is on the white half and 658 is on the red half. I opened one up and its has a taste similar to a narcotic/APAP combo. Anyone confirm exactly what this is, and why the marking change color depeding on the capsule?
Thanks

Tose are the capsules all right. Is that generic Percocet or Tylox? In the picture link given, the imprints are on different colors of the capsule as well. Interesting, I wonder why Barr does this? Well, thanks again for confirming my suspicion, now I don't feel anxious taking them although it is posible they could be expired. I'm pretty sure they are left over from a root canal I had several years ago.

Barr 658 is generic Tylox.
I don't know what version of IE I am using at work. I assume it's IE 6.0
I'm at home with IE 6.0 and will try again:
Here goes (please, everyone, if you are seeing the same picture, just ignore it. We are testing why one browser works sometimes, and others don't. And vice versa).
Okay, here is a pic of Barr 658:
Wow, it works. It did not work for me on my office computer. Sorry. And I tried several times earlier today from work.
Maybe whatever I'm using at work is not IE 6.0 - maybe it's an older version. I will let you know tomorrow.

Red and white capsule imprinted Barr 658 is 5 mg oxycodone and 500 mg acetaminophen - a narcotic/APAP combo as you suspected.
I don't know why the markings are on different colors. Mitomac, a Pharmer.org member, uploaded a nice photo showing three Barr capsules. One of the capsules is imprinted on the opposite color than the other two!
I can't get the image inserted into the post for some reason today (kept getting an error) so here is the link:
