Hi all, Brand new here so forgive me. I was reading a post on orange/yellow Norco marked "NORCO 539" They do not look like my regular Norco 10/325 "flat" yellow.
I read that these were "fake" Does that mean they are not NORCO or that they are totally worthless? Did I get something that has no hydrocodone in it at all or is just made somewhere else? Sorry for repeating but I don't know where the post went after I registered. Thank you guys, I am a little concerned.
did you buy them at your neighbor hood pharmacy, or the neighbor hood curb
Woodstock
just re-read your 2nd post, ask the pharmacy, the wholesaler, the lot number, an the pharmicetiucal company
Thank you these did come from an online pharmacy and I paid a lOT of $ for them. What does "fabricated in the US" mean? Are they medication at all? I am pretty concerned.
These were sent as 10/325 but they are huge, much bigger then the yellow ones. Calling the mfgr. would be a waste becasue they will tell me they are "fake" Does "fake" mean they are just reprinted "off brand" or are they pixie dust? I don't know how to get lot numbers and the things that you mentioned but I did read a post and there were conflicting answers regarding this. If "fake" are they medication at all?

Generic Name: Hydrocodone, Acetaminophen
Strength: 10 mg, 325 mg
Manufacturer: Watson Pharmaceuticals
Trade Name: Norco
Type: Analgesic
Class: RX, CIII
Size (mm): 14 x 6 x 5
Comment: Image courtesy of 4andsic. Imprint Norco539
From what I can make out about what you saying it appears you received name brand Norco, like in the picture goat posted for your review and comparison. Watson who makes brand name Norco also makes there own generic that looks pretty much identical except the imprint is different. Qualitest/Vintage is the only other company that Im aware of that makes yellow generic Norco and those look pretty much identical except the imprint as well. What is the imprint on the pills you normally get and what is the imprint on what you have? Theres also a section you can locate at the top of the page called Pill Imprints. This is a very well put together and pretty complete list of a lot of pills with Hydrocodone being one of them. Theres also a lot of pictures there.
Thank you guys for your help. The above pic are the ones I usually get. Norco 539 10/325. The pills that I got today are larger (the size approx. of a blue lortab 10/500..or 650 can't remember. Dr. gave me the 10/325 because of liver.
The pills I got today read NORCO 539 however they are larger and more of a "dirty yellow/orangish tint" and have a coating much like a slow release tablet. If you google "fake norco" under images you will see them. There was a post on here but I can't seem to post a reply.
I did get them by mail not local but they swear the were "fabricated" in the US and are 10/325 however I am unsure of the "NORCO" part. I don't care where they came from I just want to know if they are hydrocodone at all. I took one and really can't "feel" anything but maybe it is my head.
Back doesn't seem to hurt though? Am I being paranoid?
How do I insert a pic w/o http? No "browse"?

So, in most cases, these pills are total fakes or counterfeits.

edit/images/g
Those are the pills. Does that mean they have no medicinal value, no hydrocodone or are they just fabricated elsewhere but still have the medicine in them?
Coldduk, you did great. Those are wonderful images. I can even see every indentation in the tablets! Wonderful macro photography.
Your tablets (according to the previous thread) are probably made in China. They could be composed of anything - maybe medicinal or maybe not. There is no way to tell other than expensive lab testing.
I seriously doubt if there is any hydrocodone in the tablets. But there could be a little dihydrocodeine or codeine mixed with something else. Or it's possible the pills are composed of wallboard (I'm not kidding. There were reports in recent years about fake Chinese pills made from plaster board or other building materials.)
Hopefully your tablets are harmless and will not hurt you. But it's 99.9% sure they are not generic Norcos or anything similar.
Be careful and safe, please.
If anyone can learn from my very expensive mistake I hope my stupidity can save someone else from doing this. I feel terrible so obviously they are junk. If you see these turn them away as they are complete garbage. Thank you all again.
those r total fakes. I would NOT take them!

I talked to the "pharmacy" and they said that these are "fabricated" in the US. Am I going to be in incredible pain if these don't work?
