I received this picture from a seller in Pakistan claiming to have legitimate pills. Please let me know if anyone has seen them before(are the a stolen pic already on the net) or any other info.

Oxycontin from Pakistan...Counterfeit or Real???: The picture is from a seller in Pakistan. they look fake to me - the 8 and 0 are too far apart. Let me know what you all think

I dont know thats close. I can kinda see what you mean about the spacing of the 8 and 0, but I'm not sure. It might just be me but the color seems a little off too. See if the seller will send you a sample of just one or a couple just so you know they are real. Tell him if you get them and they are real, you will buy more.

Well the color appears off
Well the color appears off so right off the bat you know it isnt produced from purdue pharma. Also those numbers do look a little far apart. I also dont know if anyone in pakistan is licensed from purdue pharma to even produce oxycontin tablets outside of the US except for the CDN imprinted ones from canada. Those definitely look off but they might still be a counterfeit with perhaps weaker formulation or something....just because they look off doesnt mean they are completely fake placebo pills.

OC Fake/Real?
Yeah, I asked the seller if he would send a sample before a bulk order and refused saying that the minimum order is 100 pills. I am assuming its because they come in bottles of 100 pills...Can anyone confirm this? Also, I wouldnt object to counterfeit versions if they do the trick still, im just worried about completely fake pills with no oxycodone in them. Does anyone know about Pakistan counterfeit drugs?

Why on earth would you want
Why on earth would you want to put your health at risk by taking something you're not completely certain of? Even if it had some effect, no offense meant here, but putting something like that into your body that could easily be anything under the sun is really pretty dumb. Its not worth risking your health, or your life, to find out if they are ok IMHO.

The thinking behind this all
The thinking behind this all (looking overseas for pharmaceutical sources) is due to my desire to find a cheaper source of medications I already am prescribed. I am trying to not take a risk and that is why I have posted this question on this forum. I appreciate everyones response, even those critical looking out for my best interest. Any addition information regarding these pills would be appreciated. Thanks

If your looking out to save
If your looking out to save money, than stay away from these. You will probably end up getting nothing back, after your send your money. I know people that have lost allot of money trying the same thing your trying. They had to learn the hard way. If it seems to good to be true, than it is. Your life isn't worth a few hundred bucks.

Wow that really scares me. People are ingesting something that they think is an opiate but turns out to be a benzodiazepine majority (nitrazepam). This can cause some severe problems for people buying these fake oxycontin if taking them with other legit opiates due to the opiate/benzo reaction of increased respiratory depression. Any real addict buying these fake pills would notice that they are a a benzo and not opiates so I am curious to why they would even put an abuseive active ingredient in a fake pill when they could have just put something inert.

Frkonaleash, you are so correct. It can be very dangerous to ingest anything that doesn't come from YOUR prescription filled at a reputable pharmacy. Even then mistakes happen and people get the wrong med and become sick or worse but it's definitely far safer to visit your local pharmacy than ordering online with no prescription. The $ cost savings is not worth it if your life is at risk with a severe allergic reaction or respiratory depression that ends your life.

a company from pakistan sent fake ones this way. the numbers are further apart and the color and coating is different. When you cut them with razor blade they have multi color and layers not a sparkly powder like real oc. I give up on pakistan pill everyone i have seen has been bunk from fake gg249s to 80s. steer clear.

Fake or real
I've seen some from Pakistan, more green in color, has a medicinal taste to it when coating is scraped off and has a sparkly powder inside. Any input as to being the real deal or not.

fake oc 80
They are bogus pills, they must contain a little something so you get a buzz for just about 30-45 min, but that is it. Not real at all. steer clear. My friend ordered some of them, they are from the supplier in pakistan, they will send you extra pills too that look real, RC 100, and VICODIN ES, they are all bunk. he lost about $240 on that deal. The taste of all of the pills are aweful, no telling what is in them. someone has done a wonderful job at counterfiting them, especially the vicodins, as they have several angle cuts on them, so they really know how to scam everybody.

ok so...
so why dont you take the money you WOULD be spending buying from pakistan, and put that towards better insurance, to bring the price of the FDA approved OC's down. i mean by cutting the doctor out of the equation you can only hold yourself liable if something terrible happens. so if you figure your spending 150$ (ballpark) on pills from an illicit manufacturer, per month, just get special rx coverage through aetna or another major insurance company, that would be 150 a month for insurance to bring down the price of the legitimate oxys. -just my two cents. even the oc 80s can be dirt cheap if you go with the right insurer.

Pakistan meds suck
I'm well aware ofthe pakistan tricks and their fake meds. The illegal products seem to be gone from their site now at least, I know their meds are bunk, I cant get a refund but they dont seem to have a problem reshipping more bunk meds. Might as well cost them some more shipment money, makes me feel better over the money I wasted. I just then flush whats sent. Sounds silly but makes me feel better.

I see exactly wht ur sayin cuz i've had some awhile ago and yes they do not match up. The nmbers and the color are not matching up so hope you didnt get any but to some ppl who really need them, they most likely wouldnt even notice.
