Help id- Yellow gelatin capsule said to be Vicodian 1000 w/o acetaminophen

When you say "professionally packed," what do you mean? In a bottle? A blister packet? Does the container have no information on it? Also, there's no such thing as a "Vicodin 1000 without acetaminophen." Vicodin is hydrocodone with acetaminophen; there is no such thing as Vicodin without acetaminophen, and there's not a pill in existance that contains 1000 mg of hydrocodone- that would be lethal. Who told you this?

Also, where did you get the pills? If they have no markings on them, chances are that they're likely vitamins, diet pills, suppliments, or absolutely nothing. It's not difficult to buy gelatin capsules and fill them with white powder- baking soda, for instance- for use in various shady transactions.

I could be completely wrong, maybe they are something, but from what you've said, I doubt it.

no imprints= no id in most cases.  1000 mg hydrocodone? no no  no...the capsule would be to large to swallow

PLEASE!!!!  Do NOT take this tablet!  In all my years(going on 25 years now!) in the medical field , I have NEVER seen nor heard of any Pharmacy that takes pure hydrocodone and grinds it down into a powder form in order to place it inside a gel capsule.....It just doesn't happen!

Vicodin is a brand name for hydrocodone,  which can be prescribed in three ways....Vicodin - 5/500 or Vicodin E.S. -  7.5/750 and the highest dosage of hydrocodone is found in Vicodin HP - 10/660.  The first number indicates the milligram strength of the hydrocodone and the second number indicates the milligrams of acetaminophin in each tablet..... in other words, Vicodin ES 7.5/750 would have 7.5 mg. of hydrocodone and 750 mg. of acetaminophin.  There are other brand name versions of the drug, such as Lortab, and also a version of it with Ibuprofen instead of Tylenol, known as Vicoprofen.

You won't ever find Vicodin delivered in a gelcap or capsule that opens up with powder inside.  They are always a solid tablet, regardless of whether it has Tylenol or Ibuprofen combined with it....they are NEVER a capsule that can be opened up!

There is NO powder that is delivered to a Pharmacist which contains PURE HYDROCODONE that he can place inside a capsule.  It just isn't ever done!!  The Pharmacist would have NO reason to grind up a Vicodin tablet and place it inside of a capsule.  The pharmacist would have NO access to pure hydrocodone, because the ONLY versions he can purchase from the Drug Companies are the brand name tablets or the generic tablets (such as hydrocodone w/apap), but he woud NOT have access to 10 mg. of pure hydrocodone.

pharmacies do get big bottles of powders.

hydrocodone are in salt forms mainly , I believe that it would be a common ingredeint in many drug compounds.

I would deffinately have this checked out from another pharmacy before you take it! I have never heard of someone taking 1000 mgs of Hydrocodone. Yes, that would be leathel.
