I know of but cannot remember but there is a pharmasudical drug company that brands their pills with the cresent moon design....or you could be looking at a street drug named x. extacy...they do alot of shapes and designs...

Just put in F5 on the imprint line and colr and shape what ever you know...I pulled up 4 possibles with just the F5 but i could not post the results here for some reason!! ok i copied and pasted...

I have researched 1-4 on that match, and I can say it is none of the above.
RXLIST is a vague listing, IE: a match would come back if and "F" and a "5" were somewhere in the description.
like Fentanyl 5mg. Which wouldnt be right, but it would match.

I agree with Knight. The F5 pill OP asked about is not any of those listed at RXlist.com
There is an F5 in my subscription database but that particular F5 is quadrisected and does not have a moon drawing on it.
OP's pill might be foreign.

Well To be more specific.
Well To be more specific. what I'm really looking for is 2 find out if this pill is actually a legit generic finasteride since so much counterfeit and fakes are being sold I want 2 b sure. I bought this in a local pharmacy and I was told it was generic finasteride which was more cheaper. but I search the web and found a couple of generic finasteride that are fda approved but can't find this one. Your help will be appreciated.

Look on the pharmacy bottle,
Look on the pharmacy bottle, at the bottom by the tablet description there should be something to indicate manufacturer of the tablet, it may not be entire, something like "WAT" or "ORG" or "MAL" etc.
What's the pill color?
What's the pill shape?
Is the F5 on one side of the pill and is the moon design on the other side of the pill? Is the moon shape like a crescent moon?
