Maybe NT 16 Instead of HT 16?
I can't find anything with HT 16, but there is a pill imprinted NT 16 that fits your description. And the imprint could easily be mistaken for HT instead of NT.

NT 16
Oblong white tablet imprinted NT 16 is 600 mg Neurontin (gabapentin), a drug used to control seizures and treat some kinds of nerve pain.
