My dog needs an antibiotic and I have two bottles that I can't read the labels. Both contain obling, scored white pills. One marked SL 334 and the other M 157. Thanks for any help>

SL 334

The first one, SL 334, is metronidazole 500 mg.  Metronidazole is an antibacterial and antiprotozoal agent.  It's generic for Flagyl.

I don't know what M 157 is.  Maybe someone else will know.

M 157

Hi fred uhde.

I don't think M 157 is hydrocodone. I agree with pharmdwannabe.

Nothing is showing up in the databases. And highly controlled meds are well documented. So either the imprint is wrong or it's foreign or it's obscure or very, very new.
