I have two pills in one old pill bottle which is labeled hydrocordone/APAP 5/500. I can only assume I put them together because they were similar...but not sure, and I don't want to take anything not properly labeled.
The first one is a white oblong tablet, scored once with the imprint M357.
The other one is a round blue tablet, scored once, and imprinted Percocet 5.
Are these the same drug/strength?
Thanks in advance...
Oblong white tablet imprinted M 357 is 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen.

Both are narcotic analgesics. The Percocet pill might be a little stronger, but I'm not sure. On some narcotic equivalence charts, oxycodone is listed as being equivalent to or 1 1/2 times as strong as hydrocodone. So I guess strength is dependent upon how it affects each individual.
