It's not Levothyroxine. The pill is alot bigger, about the size of a typical multi-vitamin.

G Logo

I'm not finding anything in the databases for G188, so we need more info about the G.

Does the G logo look like the G on any of these images:

Thanks

Thanks for responding.

Okay, that makes it really hard since we don't know who this manufacturer is.

According to another poster, the brand is American Fare carried by KMart. I can't go browse the OTC aisles and look for something similar since the nearest KMart is 125 miles away.

These G pills are not in the databases, so it's some obscure manufacturer. Based on the color and large size (multi-vitamin size) G 188 might be a fiber caplet like Citrucel. Or if you are comparing the tablet to small multi-vitamins, it could be a sinus headache caplet or a cold remedy. These are guesses based on color and size only.

With gas being so cheap, why

With gas being so cheap, why not drive the 125 miles?  J/k Kirby.  I actually have a Kmart about 3 miles away from me, and I stop in there after work to grab a coffee.  I'll see if I can find anything that has that picture outside of the box.  I'm too cheap to buy the product.  I'll just remember G188.

Wow - thanks for the info.

It's very strange but it seems when we can't identify something, it's distributed by the VA. This has happened time and time again. Luckily posters will return and reply as you did or someone else will answer. And eventually the imprint makes its way into the databases.

It's very possible whatever company makes the American Fare OTC brand also makes RX drugs. We sure would like to know the manufacturer though.

If you have any other info, we would really appreciate knowing it.

And I apologize thinking your tablet was OTC.

Since we don't know the manufacturer, you think the G logo looks like the logo on the fiber tablet and the numbering sequence is in the right 'ballpark', I just assumed! Sorry.Frown

Turns out it belongs to my

Turns out it belongs to my grandfather. He gets all his meds from the VA. I guess next time I see him, I'll get the names and descriptions and maybe some pictures of what he takes so it can be added to the Dbase.

That's not Darvocet

It's Methyl Cellulose - a fiber supplement. It's distributed via Kmart and CVS.
