Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this pill. A pale yellow color, flat and circular, I'd say medium size. One side is divided in half by a line, with the numbers 953 written on the bottom half. The other side is blank. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sadly there's no logo on the pill. Just the number. I wish I could be of more help, would a picture work?
Of course.
An image is a great help.
Often we can tell by the style of the written numbers what manufacturer makes the pill. Then it's possibly a simple telephone call or even email.
An image would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
This pill is called dextroamphetamine. It is a lot like meth without all of the nasty effects meth leaves. Most of the time it is given for ADD/ADHD patients and some narcoleptics depending on their case. Hate to say it, but if your kid has these, send them to treatment before it is too late. Trust me! I was a hard-core "pill-popper" for quite sometime starting at age 12. Let me know if you have more questions. Oh! Most of the time this can only be prescribed by a psychiatrist who has seen their patient for a considerable amount of time. If caught with this pill it is an amphetamine so you are looking at quite a long sentence.
i believe that a yellow tab with imprint "953"is...
Bethanechol Tablet (25 mg)
the imprint 953/10 with a b on the reverse is Dextroamphetamine Tablet (10 mg) and it is pink...

Is there any kind of logo or symbol on the pill?
Right now I don't see anything in the databases but usually really old or new drug imprints are not listed.
Any additional info will help us. Thank you so much.
