I have some pills but haven't a clue what they are! Can you help. They are light blue ( like a robins egg) and oval. They have a V on the front with a circle between the opening of the V. On the back they have the #'s 133 right in the middle! Please help ASAP!!!! Thanks!!

I forgot to say that the blue color is a coating.....the inside is white!!! It is SUPPOSED to be vicodin.

133

Sorry, angel, I can't find anything yet.  But I don't think it's generic Vicodin or any other hydrocodone product.

Tell me please if either of these logos is similar to the V on the front with a circle between the opening of the V on your pill:

Advance Logo

Thanks.

Okay, thanks.  I'll keep looking and will report back - whether I find anything or not.

I just realized,.....

I just realized that it is NOT a small circle inside of the V ..... it is a small lowercase d inside of the V!!!

Okay

Then the logo is Advance Pharmaceutical's logo.  The company uses both the A with a p or an A without the crossbar with the p nestled inside.  Some people describe it as a d inside a V or a p inside an inverted V!!

This isn't the best photo, but maybe you can see that the crossbar is omitted in this imprint:

Advance Pharm Logo without Crossbar

I still don't know what your pill is though.  It's something OTC, maybe generic Tylenol PM or some type of allergy pill.  I'll keep looking and will also try to call the company unless you want to call them yourself.  Don't bother with email - I tried that once and no one replied.

I'll call Advance Pharms

On Monday I'll call and ask the company what 133 is.  If I get an answer, I'll post again.

Insignificant Update Maybe

I found two generic over-the-counter bottles of blue tabs in my kitchen cabinet while cleaning up after dinner.

One is naproxen (definitely oval shaped like Xanax), and the other is generic Tylenol PM (caplet shaped like Vicodin).  I'm using common examples for the shapes since these pills are well recognized.

Both of the pills in my kitchen cabinet are 'robin's egg blue', coated and have a white interior!   Wow, never noticed this before.  See what you have taught me?!   Thank you!   The naproxen is probably 1/4" smaller than the generic Tylenol PM and is definitely an oval shape.

These pills are imprinted P 445 (naproxen sodium) and P 325 (generic Tylenol PM).

So I need to add to my earlier post.   We still don't know what A P 133 is, but it's probably generic Tylenol PM, some antihistamine or naproxen sodium.

Tylenol PM

Kirby is correct.  This medicine is generic Tylenol PM.  I actually had it in my medicine cabinet.

Pic

Hi Angelwithdvlhorns,

I simply put the pills on my scanner and scanned them.  Much easier than trying to take a digital picture without a decent macro lens.

Thank you, grapeape8

Grapeape8, thanks for having the pill on hand and taking the time to scan it and identify it for us.  I really appreciate it.  And I'm sure angelwithdvlhorns is glad to finally know the drug ID.

And welcome back.  I haven't seen you here for weeks and wondered if you gave up on pill identification or just got too busy with work or whatever.  Anyway, stick around if you have the time.

Thanks again.
