The Old Bright Pink "MICRON" oblong Pill from India

2 months ago I ordered 90 10/500 hydrocodone from a source for $450.00. I got a pkg eventually after it got caught up in customs. I fell for the "its from the Pharmacy in Fla." routine and it was sent Express mail. Since it had a legit tracking number etc. I signed for the pkg. First I should say I found by the tracking # that it was coming from India. They covered by saying that it is filled in Fla. and sent to them in India to mail to their customers. They said that was the only legal way of doing it without a script. Wow, I thought I was smarter than that. Anyway, I thought okay I'll see what happens. When I opened the pkg carefully so I could maybe return it and found those weird bright pink oblong pills with MICRON on one side and a score down the middle. I found this website and read what others had talked about a couple years ago. Even saw the picture downloaded. I have the meds locked in my safe still in the envelope and have someones return address on it. My credit card company is still trying to dispute it but they need me to return the pkg. I have spent a lot of time on this and cannot get the pharmacy to respond on where they would like them returned. I searched and searched and even wrote to the MICRON Pharmaceutical Company in India asking them what the pills were. Does anyone know what they really are? I know that the phone # on my credit card led me to a customer service website that got information that the paperwork said Viagra but the place I ordered from responded that they were India's version of Hydrocodone and they had to put Viagra on the paperwork to get them from being confiscated. I wish that were true but I am not stupid enough to use them. Like someone else had said "who knows what they would do to a woman". They seemed to have an answer for everything and even said after I complained that I would get another pkg with US hydrocodone in it (which I told them I would believe that when I see it). They were quite believable I must admit. I searched every Viagra pill ID for all forms of Viagra and none of them fit the description so what the heck are they? Never did hear from the MICRON pharm. company. I am sure I will eventually get my credit but there must be others out there who have gotten the same pills in the mail. I can't be alone here. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, "CalamityJane55"

Oh Wow! Micron Tablet Revisited

Sorry about that! What an ordeal.Surprised

We have one poster who is convinced the tablet is generic Viagra for females. And it seems likely since India makes a lot of the ED generic drugs.

It's certainly not hydrocodone; I've never heard of hydrocodone from India except some knock-off Vikodin (I think that's the spelling the vendor used) that probably contained codeine.

Let's get the Micron picture in here. Lots of time has passed, and maybe someone has seen the tablet and knows exactly what it is:

Pink, oval pill from India, groove to make it splitteable, imprint "MICRON". See Forum Topic

Pink, oval pill from India, groove to make it splitteable, imprint "MICRON".

How time flies! That image was uploaded 2 1/2 years ago when Pharmer.org first went online.Smile

And we might as well add links to all the Micron threads:

PINK PILL FROM MICRON in INDIA

Thanks for writing Kirby.

You know I started looking up a way to return the meds on my stamps.com account.  I read all kinds of things in regard to sending something to India.  This is going to be harder than I thought.  If I want my money back I have to show proof to my credit card company that I returned it.  I don't think I can legally mail what ever the pills might be back to India legally. Who knows what I am sending.  Since it is in the original packaging and I am returning it maybe it will be okay.  I am so bummed It's vary confusing.  Now I have to feel even stupider and involve the story with the post office. On second thought I will just have to say I did not order ANYTHING so I don't get in trouble for trying in the first place.  They swore it was a US Pharmacy in Florida that was sending them. I feel for it!  It's not cheap to send mail to India without a special form and customs something or other.  I am so confused.  It is a packet that weighs 7 ozs. and I need confirmation etc. This is getting to be a night mare.  Isn't it weird that all that was started back in like 1995 with you guys.  Wish I would have gone with my gut feeling instead of my pain telling me to trust these guys cause I needed the hydrocodone so bad.  Lesson learned.

TEST

One dollar per six pills? No way. In the US, one tablet of 50mg Sildenafil citrate is still $11.50.

Solo- did you notice how unprofessional their site looks?

Haha, yea I know. I looked

Haha, yea I know. I looked up the price through my insurance as a comparison and they say average retail for 100mg is about 9$. I did also lie to this guy and tell him "im authorized to make a purchase of a large qty" just so I would get a reply. He could just have worded it wrong and meant $6 for 1 tablet. I dont know either way, I do have emails out to 2 more people Im waiting on replies from.

Am I missing the images of their products, or do they not exist either?

The thing that stuck out to me was the "We Are Manufactures of Vega-Power (Just like Viagra!!!!)" in their Advertisement.  Let us know what you find out from your other two sources.  I have no sources for that company:(

I also noticed there was no

I also noticed there was no "Hydrocodone" based products listed on that site.  So, if this is where the OP got the Micron pills from, under the assumption they were hydrocodone, I think it's safe to say something may have been lost in the translation.

Haha! I just noticed the 12 year old. Thats pretty funny. Some doctor in India just recently let his really young son preform a "C"section on some lady,I think hes going to lose his license over it,you never know they might let little kids make there drugs.

12-Year Olds and Vega Advertisement

I don't see anything about 12 year olds working in the lab - or performing C-sections. And I don't see that advertisement comparing Vega-Power to Viagra. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks.

The first link I used

The first link I used compared the two and it was a really bad website, so I switched it to microns website. The picture of the little lab girl on the website from the link above looks really, really young (12 year old reference). About the little kid making a "c"section I was making a joke in reference to the really young looking girl on micron's webite.

Also at the link above it shows a pic of the Vega Power100 next to there list of generic drugs, and Ive seen it listed on a few other sites as being manufactured by Micron. Still cant say for sure if it really is though.

You may not see all the pictures if you are using a different browser than IE. They dont show up for me when I go there with Mozilla, only IE.

Kirby, Here is the

Kirby,

Here is the link I used, that showed the Vega Power tablets.

If you are using Firefox, highlight, and right click on Micron Org and choose the "search google for Micron Org". The third result will say product listings, but the link goes nowhere. However, if you type the address, and take out the /products portion of the link, you'll see the horrible webpage that we are talking about.

The young person post we are talking about is in the second link that Solo posted.

The child who performed the C-Section was a news story about a week or two ago, and the doctor videotaped his son performing the surgery. Apparently, the medical community around the world frowns on this type of activity, and the doctor may lose his license. (Rightfully so).  Not sure if this link to the story will work.

You're welcome, Kirby.  It

You're welcome, Kirby.  It was a "hot topic" on a slow news day.  It's a shame all of that was done for his kid to attain the record in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest person to perform a C-section.

BRIGHT PINK OBLONG PILL FROM INDIA

Calamity Jane

Hi to all who responded.  I appreciate you writing to those people at Micro.  I tried that back before I started on this forum and never heard anything.  I went back to the site you posted and wrote again to find out what the pills are.  Did anyone hear back?  I guess it has been awhile since I lasted got on here but they are still locked up in my drawer.  I have this huge curiosity.  I'd hate to throw them away only to find out that they in fact did have some pain relief value. I also need to save them a little longer since my fraud claim was just barely settled and i did get my $450.00 back.  I have to admit I cannot believe that I got myself tricked.  I am SO much smarter than that. HAHA Yea so I thought anyway. (grin)  One thing is for sure. IT WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN AGAIN.  I have a pain pump which was implanted a couple years ago.  My doctor just does not believe in taking oral meds once he puts it in.  It does help while I am laying around but life is passing me by.  He has only increased the amount of the drug in the pump twice and it was very little according to some checking around I did.  Many others have docs who are much more generous and also give pills like MSContin in low doses for breakthrough pain.  I just can't go to another doc in my neck of the woods so to speak.  They all know each other.  My other doctor retired from the pain business.  I am writing this so that others will not feel stupid about doing what I did.  Sometimes pain will cause you to think in STUPID ways.  It's the old "if it's too good to be true, it probably is" scenario. Don't let your pain alter your good old common sense. I did find a website where you could send your medical records in and they have a doctor in the U.S. go over them and decide if you can have whatever meds you previously took.  Seems like I got one doc to say ok then the next month the doctor I got said forget it(they were freaked out by the pain pump.  Went to another place on line and sent my records and was able to get my Hydrocodone and then their company had the DEA in to stop the process until they could make sure they were legit.  A month later they got another group of docs while they were being investigated and they sent me the script after talking with me and evaluating my records and I was able to take it to my pharmacy and fill it legally. My insurance even paid for it.  It was for 90 10/500 hydrocodone.  It has been hit and miss since I first started this in December.  I don't need much.  But I was in-between sites when this guy "David Wilson" called and said he was sending me my Hydrocodone and that is when the whole pink pill thing started and found out it was from INDIA.  Don't believe anyone who calls you and says they have your medicine and need to verify your address etc before they mail it. The timing was perfect since I had just used my other place and thought it was them.  I am taking this time out in case anyone happens to read this.  If I can help just one person from this type of FRAUD it will have been worth the time posting. I have no idea how many people read this stuff so for any DEA readers, "I WAS TRICKED"! Thanks for all those who posted to my Pink Pill delima. REGARDS

MICRON PILLS

Calamity Jane

Dear GRTPlayer,

Hello, just wanted to say that there was nothing lost in translation.  Just a case of FRAUD as far as I can tell.  Thanks for writing.
