So I am a lil confused about the oxy ir the name brand is roxycottin or roxycotton I know that but its seams to me that all I get from the pharm is generics that's cool but I didn't know if there was a pharmaceutical company that made that name brand. Like pradu is to the oc.. Hope this makes sense to some one
The name brand of that drug is Roxicodone. As far as I know, the original manufacturer (Roxane, I think) is no longer in production. Therefore there is currently no "name brand" roxicodone. On top of that there are few companies that are currently making the medication. Mallinkrodt, Amide/actavis and Qualitest are the only that I know of that are currently shipping this medication.
There are mixed opinions about which is the most effective or most preferred brand. The first few months I had it all I could find were the Mallinkrodt but now I get the Amide and I am much happier with this company. Others agree with my sentiments but I've heard of someone saying the opposite.
