Thanks Kirby, The logo does look almost exactly the same. I googled "Xanax 1mg Pakistan" and I do see some pictures that look like the same color but nothing close up to give a look at the logo.
Does anyone here know this logo. Certainly someone has to have seen it before!

Just like infamousjax mentioned in the other thread, the "A" Logo belongs to Adamjee Pharmaceuticals in Pakistan. You can see the logo on the top left of the page on Adamjee's website.

Thanks Kirby. That is definetly the logo on the pill. Now I just wonder how I find out if they are Xanax or something else. The company looks legit. I guy nobody has taken any of these? I wasn't able to find a pictures of the 1mg xanax produced by this manufacturer

So has anyone actually taken any of these purple pills? Been waiting for some kind of confirmation one way or the other. Nothing yet and don't see any response on any other site

I'm confused . . . Q here,
Nepaguy, where did you purchase these oddball Pakistani "Mystery Xanax"? Do you live in the USA or are you one of our U.K. members? I'm asking because here in the States, Xanax is one of the cheapest and most readily available prescription drugs. I have never had any pronlem obtaining them at Walmart where I pay $10.00 for 60 1 mg Xanax/Alprazolam manufactured by Mylan right here in the States. There's no mystery involved at all, I drive 10 miles to the store, give them my Rx which is signed by my Dr. of course, and 20 minutes later I give them my $10.00 and they give me my 60 1mg Xanax. I guess some people like to create a lot of hassle in their lives as well as spend as much as $3.00 a tablet (a price that a former poster quoted here on the pharmer.org board) by buying their Xanax online. Go figure . . .

I think it has more to do with their inability to get a physician to prescribe them Xanax (alprazolam). I am guessing that most people getting them online, or at least trying to get them online do not do it to save money, as it usually costs much more money to get these online it seems. They seem to do it because of their inability to get doctors to write out a prescription for it. They are not CII meds, nor nearly as difficult to get a dr. to prescribe a CII med to them, but they are controlled meds nonetheless, and hence, not always easy to get drs. to give them a script for it, so they turn elsewhere, i.e. to the internet.

I am in the US.
It should be that easy. I recently moved and have a new doctor. I have suffered from Panic attacks and general anxiety for as long as I can remember. I have been prescribed everything from the long term side Paxil, prozac, zoloft, etc. I seem to have the one in a million recation to these things. I got geographic tongue from prozac for ?#^@!@ sake. Zoloft made me yawn every 5 second all day long. Paxil just made the anxiety ten times worse. Back when I was about 25 a doctor prescribed me xanax. It was the only thing that worked without side effects. I could take them just as I needed them instead of everyday. Usually .5mg in th morning if it felt like it was going to be an anxiety day. It would kill it in 30 minutes. Never taken more than 1mg in a day before. I think that sometimes just knowing they are there can break the attacks.
I have a lib doctor that thinks therapy is the way to go. That will give me the real healing. I am married to a therapist! Did it ever occur to these numbskulls that sometimes people just get anxiety for no real reason. I told this physician my history and what has worked for me but she still thinks therapy is the key. I need to find a new doctor. In the meantime i thought I would try and get the meds i need myself.
Xanax has gotten a bad wrap because of the few that abuse it. x*#& for those who actually need it and use it only when is needed.

I dont really understand how
I dont really understand how someone could abuse a benzo, but idiots find all kinds of creative ways to mess things up. Klonopin is so theraputic for me, it doesnt offer me any abusable effects. It kills anxeity for long periods of time and relaxes me. Yes it does work in synergy with my other medicines increasing their effectiveness.
I had a real problem with my docs PA getting that same fact through his head a long time ago. Kept referring me to cognitive behavioral therapy. I was like look, there are times when I know something is causing me anxiety, but for the most part it comes on for no reason. They want to believe you can think it all away with the right skills. My problem was with Kaiser you can wait a month or two to see your PCP or get a same day appointment with the PA. When I finally got in to see my doc, who treated my whole family so we had trust, he told me he would treat my anxiety, but in his power, all he had were medications at his disposal as well as his support. He said he preferred that I go to psych and do CBT but to be upfront if I was not going to ever go because he didnt want my anxiety to go untreated. He was such a cool doc, I wish more docs were straight up like that. I told him I probably would never go, that I already had a home course from Lucinda Bassett that helped me learn techniques for the anxiety I know the cause of, but the real problem was most of my anxiety came out of nowhere at times where in my mind I was perfectly fine but my body was having a break down, and he said ok, lets start prescribing. He told me to come and see him often because just having support and coming in the clinic can ben beneficial, which it was. He gave me a special way to make an appointment with him to get in with a few days.
You think medicine would be a well defined field, well its not. Its all up to the perception of the doc that is practicing, and I have really come to like that word, practicing, because so many need a lot more of it and still are not getting it right.
