I came across this pack of pills in celophane while cleaning and am disturbed. I wanted to know what it was before i started freaking out.

PA 309 white round is
hydroxyzine HCL 50mg
generic Atarax, an antihistamine, made by Pliva.
You can see an image at www.drugdigest.org search hydroxyzine, it's the Pliva 50mg link under product images. Their Pic shows the white tablet with the markings imprinted. There is also a version of the med in a coated tablet with the markings in black ink not shown, but they are both the same med and dose. I hope that made sense.

Thank you so much for replying. I hated to sound like a ninny, but you never know these days. I have stopped watching the news just about, due to their scare tactics. It is nice to know there are ppl out there that are still kind and generous.
